  • Removing items from a decommissioned nuclear power plant is no everyday job. This project with RWE Nuclear GmbH was no exception.
👉 Mammoet was assigned to remove two steam converters, each weighing around 155t, from the control area of the decommissioned nuclear power plant in Lingen, Germany.
📽️ Watch the video and see how the large components were rotated inside the confined facility and lowered to ground level for transport.

Congratulations on the job well done and one a video that does a fine job of explaining it. I think this is enough detail to explain the challenge, the solutions, and why Mammoet would be a reliable partner for a similar job in the future.
