In this video we go over the Li-Ning Liren III V2 Low, arguably the most popular and highest ranked hoop shoe on the market in China right now.
This shoe is indeed a fantastic performer across the board: amazing traction, excellent cushioning with the full-length Boom setup, “tough rubber” ensures durability and your movements will feel very smooth in it. They fit true to size, and perhaps the only concern here is lateral containment and torsional support, otherwise just a top-level basketball shoe that basically has the package of a signature sneaker.

Thanks for this review. This low top version has been on my radar since release, but price higher than AC11 and SoF, so I wasn’t too sure if I should cop.

So glad you got these!! I have the mids in the Lavendar colorway, and don't have any torsional issues from what I've noticed, but I am a wide/flat footer as well.
To me, this is how a signaature shoe should be each time, just consistent as a whole. I love how they used the Boom on here. I'd probably would've copped the WOW 10s by now if I didn't like these so much. Probably going to get another pair for sure, and try the lows.

This model has a lot of good reviews. I'm glad you reviewed them. Suitable for players who need good cushioning. Personally, they probably won't work for me. There will be a descent of the foot as in 36 Jordans. For me, the best shoes in recent years are Wade 10 and LeBron 20.

Thanks! Both are amazing shoes that I’d have in the top tier, the foam feels softer in these with more compression but the Son of Flash contains your feet a little bit better.

hi tommy, How would you compare the fit of these sneakers to the fit of the Harden Volume 7s? I had to go down half a size about 3 times with the Hardens until 8.5 US because I like my sneakers to fit like a glove.

I’ve been watching shoes reviews non-stop and I’ve got my eyes on wow fission 8 and wow ac11 as well. (For fission 8 I think they might be too narrow for my wide feet, as for the ac 11 people can’t seem to agree on how the traction performs so I’m hesitant)
Maybe I’ll wait for fission 8 v2 or ac11 v2 since it’s no hurry, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

🙏🙏 Thank you!! On these I wouldn’t say it’s a major concern, so Liren 3 V2 should be a great option. All City 11 is good too, wide foot friendly and spacious in the toe box. Fission 8 since you have wide feet, I’d recommend avoiding it just to be safe.

Tommy, I'm going to Vietnam in July 6 and I wanted too ask you if should buy the PG6 there I'm a bit of a wide footer for a 8.5 us in adidas and 9 is nike but I feel like the PG6 won't last long cause of outdoor usage and I like triple black only for my shoes so no one would see it if it gets dirty
Hey, on the PG 6 I’d always recommend it. My favorite shoe from last year, I think it’s a very safe choice and just a great all-around shoe. Regarding the outdoor durability thing yes maybe but that applies to most of the shoes out there, I wouldn’t consider it a deal breaker. So yes on the PG 6 😃

Do these face the soft mesh strobel board that the ac11 have or is it a normal stiff strobel board?
In terms of just traction on indoor courts(very dusty and sometimes clean courts) and cushioning(i prefer decent impact protection and decent responsiveness-not too crazy), do you think the zoom freak 4 or kyrie low 5 are better in terms of these 2 categories?
Traction performance the Kyrie Low 5 is slightly better based on my experience on different dust conditions, but cushioning the Zoom Freak 4 is definitely better. Overall putting things together I’d take the Zoom Freak 4 as the better shoe.
Is it good for wide footers

If your splitting hairs - how do you find the cushion compared to wow 10 - a little more or less? I know you said similar. I often hurt my heel due to it hitting the carbon plate on the wow 10s.
A tiny bit more even. These feel softer with more compression, but impact protection is still good, just an amazing shoe 😃

definetly the wow 10. the price is a little much right now, but for whats its worth its a must. the traction, cushioning, bounce, and fit is all amazing. its an awesoem shoes for all around players. they also look amazing and have a ton of good colorways. i am saving up to the the new "avocado" colorway

@@NewKingsofTheRing Haha TYTY 🙏 Oh the Liren 3 Team version is quite different from what I’ve heard - it’s Light foam instead of BOOM, so cushion would be a downgrade as well. Just be aware of that… In that case I’d much rather take the Fission 8 then tbh.

Hey. I’d take these over the All City 11. For sizing if you wear a size 12 just find their US sizing 12 on the size chart too that should do. 😃
@@thankfulboy1479 Yes, that’s why I said refer to your US sizing, not EUR sizing. In this shoe I wear a US 10.5, Nike sneakers I’m a 10.5. EUR I’m normally 44.5, but Li-Ning does not have a 44.5 in a lot of their basketball shoes it’s either 44 or 45.
@@thankfulboy1479 In other Way of Wade shoes I usually do the EUR 45 instead of EUR 44, which is half size up in US sizing. Liren 3 is true to size - in US sizing. To avoid confusion I’d recommend referring to your US sizing, so this shoe is TTS in US sizing as mentioned in the vid.

Video idea - maybe do a size comparison chart for all brands with caveats for specific models. I don’t think any other shoe reviewer has done this yet. May get some traction if your vid becomes the go to for sizing reference.

Hey, again those two are probably the best two out of Li-Ning & Way of Wade in a while really - so no bad pick here. If I absolutely have a pick one WOW 10 but I pretty much love playing in them equally.

These have better traction, especially on a dusty court. Otherwise they’re pretty much equally as good in the other aspects. AC 11 would feel more low-to-the-ground.

🙏 808 2 will be lower to the ground. And midfoot width is larger on the 808 2 and All City 11 than on these for sure, those are wider.

@@coffeeistheanswer5923 All City 11 is lower to the ground. Well I sized up with Way of Wade shoes, so because of the sizing I went with I won’t have those all in the same size to compare but I’m pretty sure same size in those two are a little bit wider.
@@coffeeistheanswer5923 But overall performance wise I would take these over the All City 11 and 808 2. Just that if you have very wide feet, those two are indeed the most wide friendly options from the brand.

For other with similar issues I will share my experience with Wade shoes. I had the 808 in eu45 and I loved them, especially traction and court feel. After a couple of weeks my right foot was starting to hurt and I realized the shoe is slightly too tight in the midfoot. I just had a chance to try on the all city 10 v2 and they are ever so slightly short and a bit narrow in the midfoot. We are talking mm here, but I felt that on try on rather than hours of wear. Going up should work for both for me but I would prefer a shoes without plastic on the side like the good old Puma Clyde all pro.
I wear 45 in Nike and Puma and 45 1/3 in Adidas. And will now try 46 for the 808 :)
