Father's Day is just around the corner, and I've been wanting to write a new song for a while. Every time I would think about writing a new Father's Day song, it seemed so daunting! How do you broach such a sensitive topic when every child has a unique family experience? Not everyone has a loving parent. Not everyone feels that they have BEEN a loving parent. And there are many people around the world who ache for the lost influence of a good dad in their lives. I feel for them. However, I also want to celebrate the dads who ARE there. The ones who strive to be the best that they can be for their families. Those who are "That Someone" to their children. So here it is. I hope you enjoy it.

I lost my father in 2019 and as a girl who is really close to her father this really broke me and felt like I cannot endure the pain….few days after his burial I suffered panic attacks which leads to having a heart problem…I really experienced great pain from losing my dad but upon hearing this SONG I was touched and I’m not going to lie but I cried while listening to this because it reminds me of my Dad and the good times I had with him and this gives me peace because one day I will meet and be reunited with him through Heavenly Father’s Plan❤❤

My Mom was the real difficult one, and I appreciated my dad more when he died and we had to care for her. Yet God tells me in heaven, I get to meet them for who they were meant to be, So I look forward to that. If you didn't have a good dad, Be a dad figure to some one who needs it. There is a lot of lonely kids out there.

This song makes me weep for the the grandchildren I have whose father has never been the kind of father described here. They have ALL (including their father) lost out on so much because of it. It breaks my heart. But I still think we should celebrate the ones whose lives mirror these beautiful lyrics. As always, your inspired music lights the way.

I'm from Malaysia. I lost my dad 11 years ago. Never a day goes by without me missing him. He was my bulwark - full of laughter and fun and also seriousness when he showed me right from wrong. There were times I raised my voice at him due to disagreements. He went all quiet at those times. It cut my heart to see him do that out of love for me. It took me the courage to ask for his forgiveness while dropping tears of extreme remorse. He would hold my hands tight and say: "It's ok! You're forgiven. Nothing to worry about. It happens to all of us." Your song is so wonderful and inspiring! It cuts to my heart! I will want to see my father again when our Lord Jesus returns! Thank you for this song! I shared it on my FB page for all fathers out there!

I lost my first son 8 years ago at Christmas but just last year God allowed me to have another son and he was born last October 13th. He is one amazing God especially when the doctors said we could no longer have children. Our heavenly father proved them all wrong! The doctor was crying after we delivered him.
