WWE or AEW need to make a new game like this. The digitized graphics, combined with the craziness, was such a fun combination.

I feel like AEW should do something like this rather than compete with WWE 2K - something so different and incorporate some of their wacky characters like Orange Cassidy and House of Black with silly moves

Given that this game was developed by the developers of Mortal Kombat.
I remember WWF Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game being a hit with kids from my place renting SNES'es.

The SNES version was good even though they cut two characters

was my favorite too and ive seen complaints online bit¢hing its not a real "wrestling video game" (source: unavailable)
and OP sums it all up from there for likes and how great and fun the game was
however, the small roster and lack of Diesel (primarily because he was on top from late November 94 to damn near all of 1995)
    (oops, unmarked spoilers)
    &
the "sequel" game IN YOUR HOUSE that i never got to play until YEARS later (10+ IIRC) was just disappointing and a let down to follow up THIS game here
special note: i played the SNES exclusively because... finances
the actual Arcade game only a handful of times
and even got into a fight with another "fan" due to the SECOND WIND mechanic that had the CPU beat him when he was looking away and not paying attention. so i was standing around the cabinet and close to the "controller" he was using and i got accused of doing something to it
and trash talk turned to pushing turned to shoving and then "shooting" (or $hitting) on one another
and thats why i never went back to that Roller rink (or mall arcade, whatever)
    apologies, im a chatty cathy

That was quite a story lol 😂 yeah this game should have had Diesel in it.
In Your House is just a poor clone of this unfortunately but has a decent roster

I had zero interest in the game and its sequel (WWF In Your House) at the time as I feel Mortal Kombatness shouldn't be in a WWE game that features a ring whereas a wrestling game crossed with Mortal Kombat belongs more with Ultimate Muscle (as the anime series did have fatalities).
WWE Crush Hour (think WWE meets Twisted Metal) was my personal fun WWE game when it came to WWE games that weren't about wrestling.

I really enjoyed Crush Hour. So weird that that game even exists. I’ll have to dig it out for a future video
