I feel like Death would actually be opposed to the Entity because of it endlessly resurrecting people over and over again just to feed on their suffering, and thus depriving him of their souls over and over again, and in a way cheapening his very existence. And realizing that he actually CAN'T harvest them so long as they remain in the Entity's realm, he'd probably try to interfere and get them back to the normal world so that he can reap them properly when their time is naturally done.
And him hunting the survivors in the entities realm could be him trying to more or less brute force a "gap" for the entity to slip up once, for him to have the quicker draw and grab the soul from the entities grasp by force
Considering how death would be opposed to the entity, I would imagine he wouldn't even go for hooks. There's a game very similar to dbd called identity v, and one of the killers in that is completrly unable to "hook" people, instead leaving them on the ground with an extremely fast bleed out rate. Perhaps Death could have something similar?
i feel the entity could actually use this to its favor, tormenting death with being unable to truly kill those whos time has come would only give the entity more emotion, maybe death could have perks related to this and help with mori'ing survivors or maybe his ability tied to it, i could definitely see the entity using this to toy with death and get even more emotion out of him
Now I'm just thinking how many of his voicelines would be perfect for dbd: Starting chase: "Corre, corre" "Go ahead and run, makes it more fun" Downing a survivor: "Slow, sloppy, sad!" "What's the matter? Life flashing before your eyes?" Hooking a survivor: "I just love the smell of FEAR" Getting stunned: "Por que diablos fui a jugar con mi comida?!" "You're ruining this for me!" "Bien, muy bien" Witnessing a survivor escape: "Live your life, live it well" "You know we'll meet again, right?" Making a survivor drop an item: "Go on, pick it up!" Downing Nic Cage: "Hey, I never do this, but can I get your autograph?" Mori: "I think we've reached the end, you and I"
Por que diabos fui a jugar con mi comida doesn't make Sense in this situation. The other 2 would Def fit(ok i I should have specified that it wouldn't make sense if the word had the same meaning as the movie)
This feels more like the score for an action scene than something out of a horror game, but considering the nature of the character, that works pretty well. I imagine Death isn't working for the Entity, but is actually going behind its back in an attempt to bring a permanent end to the survivors. However, no matter how many times he harvests them, the Entity just seems to steal them back for another game every single time. Not sure how this would be represented in the mechanics, though.
Could be a similar system to Percy aka The Undead from Identity V (a mobile clone of dbd that I may or may not like more than dbd). Percy is completely unable to hook survivors, but survivors will bleed out much faster. Could do something like that. Edit: could even expand this idea where if a survivor gets knocked down enough times, they become moriable.
I think that’s why Wesker has one of my favorite chase themes. It is a thrilling chase but it also feels like a climactic final encounter in an rpg game.
@@MrMoron-qn5rxsince well unlike a certain cat, you do respect death, so death is less mercilessly chasing you and more granting a challenge. Life's challenge.
he's a stealthy killer, watching from the shadows, but ever present. Before swooping in from the sidelines to take the kill... That's very in character ngl. Imagine a power where he could like, hide his aura from survivors, is locked into place and cannot move, and when a survivor runs past him, he jumps out from the shadow and downs them instantly. That'd be sick as hell. Likely unbalanced... But who cares :D
@@backpack_hermit25 I imagine he'd be like Myers, but instead of becoming more lethal with stalk, he becomes faster, able to pounce onto them from ~12 meters away.
@liamatte It could but it's nonsense because the hatches power at least for now are irreplaceable I think Twins it's a good decision and it could be The cat with boots as Victor that's a possibility.
You know, if he showed up in the realm... he would be coming for everybody. The whole place, The Entity especially, would be deeply offensive to him. And I doubt The Entity could control him...
Definitely seeing his kit opening early Moris, as he only humors The Entity's rules for so long. The question is, how would this manifest? Would it be a perk, like Rin's Hex: Rancor, or an Add-on, like Myers's tombstones? Maybe, because Death is a fundamental force, it could even be built into his base power, but buried behind setup, like with Pyramid Head. Only one way to know, and it's a Longshot.
I mean, he DID defy the laws of the Wishing Star by straight up walking through it's existence erasing barriers, who's to say he can't defy the Entity?
@@sunsetlover123-y7c the entity is able to control many many beings that can defeat him, for example the lich, theres a mark on the back of the lich's neck that apparently means that the lich is being limited by the entity, lost power. many other survivors especially have been powerscaled down too, i mean cmon if leon can roundhouse kick a zombie in the face i dont see why he wouldnt be able to do that to legion or ghostface
Killer: Reaper of Death Backstory: The physical embodiment of death, he hates it when people take life for granted, and after sensing how many take it for granted, he decided to join the fun to show true death. Power: Whistling Fear Description: The wolf knows that as much as eerie quietness or loud screaming can be fearful, he shows fear through a low whistle, putting gradual fear into everyone. When the match starts, everyone hears the whistle of death, applying the affect “Fear” on them. Fear makes even the simplest things harder to do. As the meter fills for survivors, the likelihood of a random skill check appears. Successful skill checks decreases the meter and has a delay before restarting the charge. Failing the skill check makes the survivor scream. If a survivor screams, Death can teleport to a nearby locker and jump out, causing anyone within a radius to scream, revealing their location and shows their aura for 3 seconds, and the survivor who caused the scream first to be revealed for 5 seconds. Survivors can hide in lockers to decrease the meter. Death can shift into a locker once every 60 seconds, and the same effect happens if anyone is near. If he teleports to a locker occupied by anyone, they are automatically grabbed. If the meter is full and survivor is on death hook, Death can immediately kill them by his paws. Perk 1: Spine Tingling - The fear of death scares anyone, no matter how many times they face it, and you know it well. When a survivor is on last hook, and the doors are powered, you can see their aura for 3/5/7 seconds. Perk 2: Fearful chase - Once people know your real identity, most tend to run in fear, and you love the taste of fear. While in chase, the perk slowly builds. At full power, you gain a burst of speed using the secondary action button, going 150% for 2/3/4 seconds. Can only do this once per chase, with a cooldown of 100/80/60 seconds Perk 3: Death’s Revenge - You have a job to do, and when others interfere with that job, you get mad. While hunting a survivor, if another survivor takes a hit or while carrying a survivor stuns yoy, they are marked for 30/45/60 seconds. If hit within the time, the survivor is downed immediately, and you gain extra 1.5/2/2.5 multiplier towards Brutality bloodpoints. If failed to do so, the marked survivor will gain the similar bloodpoint multiplier towards Evasion bloodpoints. Map: Dark Forest - Once a place few came to get their deepest wish to come true, now is a place Death comes to punish those who don’t care for their life. Mori (Offering): Death whistles as he approaches the survivor, as he uses his sickle to turn the survivor over to look him in the eyes as the camera zooms into the eyes, showing the survivor as he brings the sickle to their neck and slices it open, letting them bleed out. Mori 2: Max Fear meter final hook - Death watches as the survivor scampers, trying to run as he whistles the entire time, as he teleports in front of them and swings his sickle up, bringing the sickle from the neck out their mouth as he bathed in the blood, and drops them on the ground, all the while whistling his tune. (I hope this was cool, took me a bit and was hard to type since more words = Lag)
death would actually hate the realm, simply because the very concept of himself is pretty much nonexistent, so he'd be a killer that hates the entity and the realm
Another commentor said a pretty neat concept, death is actually not working with the entity, rather he actively hijacked his way into the realm in-order to kill the victims for good, but unfortunately the entity still seems to bring them back and continue the game
It's actually incredible how well and naturally you were able to implement the whistle and the last fight's theme to make it sound like a real DbD chase music! After the Mandela Catalogue one this is yet another banger. Amazing job! 10/10!
My ideas for The Wolf's perks: Perk 1: Death Manifested They used to laugh at the face of death, but no one's laughing now. Whenever you have been chasing a Survivor without injuring them for 120/90/60 seconds, they become Exposed until they enter the dying state. When they escape chase before Death Manifested activates, the timer pauses, and resumes once you start chase again. This perk can only be active once per Survivor and deactivates for that Survivor when they enter the dying state. Death Manifested reactivates for every Survivor when the exit gates are powered. Perk 2: Joy of Hunting The smell of fear is intoxicating. When you have been following a trail of scratch marks for 3 seconds, you gain a 5% Haste effect. This effect persists when you start a chase with the Survivor that created the scratch marks. Joy of Hunting cannot activate while you are in a chase with a Survivor. This perk goes on a 60/45/30 second cooldown when you leave the trail or you start a chase with a Survivor that didn't create the scratch marks. Perk 3: End of the Line They can try to take the cowards way out, but you're both well aware how it ends. When the hatch opens by any means, the last survivor screams, revealing their location for 2/3/4 seconds. When you close the hatch, they scream again, revealing their location again, and for the rest of the trial, they can be killed by your hand. This is my first time designing perks for a concept Killer, so let me know what you think about it. :)
I love them, I think some people would complain about death manifested but it seems fair to me, Joy of hunting is unique and fun, And I always love me a perk that lets you mori people, though maybe it takes a second before their aura is revealed or something? Since it would basically just be an instant loss for the survivor team the moment you kill 3 people. All in all, fun ideas though!
Out of all impossible DBD killers, I think this is the one I'd want the most in the game. The voicelines would be great, the whistle could be one hell of a lullaby, his design is fantastic, it's already a pretty iconic villain, and the game still doesn't have a werewolf-esque type of monster.
good luck picking shrek up after somehow downing him especially when you're playing as the pig or ghostface and shrek is *tall*, so i imagine some killers would be more intimidated than shrek i think one of jack's bakers makes more sense as a survivor
@@spaceacepl4636If Death is being added in this hypothetical situation, then I’d say Puss should be the survivor, sure he might be a bit shorter but everyone said Chucky couldn’t be in the game since he was too small, but here we are
@@spaceacepl4636 Maybe some kind of parry that could work like a skill check, if done right it stuns the killer but can only be used maybe once per chase
A neat detail for the Wolf would be to replace the the nine lives markings on his sickles with a series of tally marks that track how many hooks a survivor has gone through in a Trial.
This probably would never happen in a million years. But if it did, I'd main him immediately. Imagine him like a mix between Ghostface and Pyramid head. He's a stealth killer, but also can use his fire walls like in the movie to cut off avenues of escape for the survivors. Either the firewalls are impossible to pass through or they just take a health state to run through.
2:13 "That's right! Run! *Makes it more fun for me.~"* _snarls maliciously as he gives chase_ Imagine Death saying that as he finds you and chases you in this game. Would be very cool and terrifying, wouldn't it?
Death probably hates the entity for giving the survivors so many lives. So many times do they die but he never gets to take their sould. He enters the realm, deciding to take matters into his own hands.
My jaw freaking dropped when you used the "fight with death" score for the chase theme, GENIUS!!! Can't wait to play as the new survivor; Puss in Boots lol
"The Reaper is a death-delivering killer who seeks to bring a quick but savory end to his victims by using the abilities of his chosen wolf form to sniff out the fear in his prey and close their casket for good." His personal perks, *Each Frivolous End*, *The Coward's Way Out*, and *Intoxicant Ichor* aid him in his hunt by granting several chase bonuses while also hobbling survivors too fearful to support their fellow allies.
His power I feel would revolve around fear, possibly shaking or making survivors stuggle to see and move, as if they're panicking. His perks could focus around sacrificing and death in survivors, because at the moment, they're aren't very many.
Imagine putting Puss as a new survivor and Death as a new Killer. I would totally play 24/7!!! I am already imagining their perks. For Puss: Perks: 1.) Fearless Hero: You rather sacrifice yourself for others. While the Killer picks up a survivor within 32m from you, Fearless Hero activates for 10 seconds. Once Killer hits you with a basic attack within duration of this perk, the carried survivor will be freed from the Killers grasp. Has a cooldown of 90 seconds "Who is your favorite fearless hero?" ~ Puss in Boots 2.) Fear me, if you dare: Once Killer enters bloodlust while chasing you, you also gain a 10% speed boost for 5 seconds. Causes Exhausted. Can't be activated while Exhausted "No bounty hunter has ever defeated me" ~ Puss in Boots 3.) Last Life: You refuse to die just yet. When downed at the second hook phase, this perk activates for 90 seconds. During that duration, hooking or killing by hand (Mori) will be cancelled, stunning the Killer and putting you into Deep Wound state in the process. Can only be activated once. "I will fight for this life" ~ Puss in Boots For Death: Perks: 1.) The Smell of Fear You crave for your victims fear. Once entering and all-throughout the duration of Bloodlust, you will see the aura of all Survivors within your Terror Radius "I just love the smell of fear!" La Muerte 2.)Hex: Lives Flashing before your Eyes Activates when a survivor cleanses or blesses a totem. Survivors will be able to see their own scratch marks. However, scratch marks will be more visible and will last 5 seconds longer. Scratch Marks are will still be visible even within Boon range "What's the matter, lives flashing before your eyes?" ~ La Muerte 3.) Till' we meet again. One may escape Death once. But when he comes back, he won't give you a second chance. Each time you let a survivor escape, you gain one token. You can collect up to 2 tokens While chasing a survivor for 3 seconds, that survivor will be Exposed until you hit him or her. Even if that survivor escaped, he or she will remain Exposed. It consumes one token. "We will meet again, Gato" ~ La Muerte Power: I am Death, Straight Up You don't mean it poetically or metaphorically or rhetorically or any other fancy way. Death is a skilled combatant with different battle techniques depending on what form his weapon is. Press the power button to enter into Whistle of Death mode. While in Whistle of Death, you have no red stain but increased terror radius. Your scythes are detached from each other, holding each on both hand You walk on a crouch-like position which making vaulting faster. Grants the ability to vault through pallets but you cannot break them in that mode. You can do a basic attack while performing a vault which will make him swing both his scythes outward as he lands covering a semi-circle radius which is advantageous when survivor is trying to escape through a window or a pallet. You can't pick up survivor on this mode Press the power button again to go to Straight Up mode (starting form). You walk upright and your weapon turns into a cane with scythes on both ends. You will have your red stain back and your terror radius returns to normal. Holding the basic attack will not only perform a lunge attack but enables you to spin the cane above your head and swing the cane around hitting multiple survivors. You are not able to vault pallets but you can break them and vaulting through windows is much slower. You can pick survivors at this mode.
Death: "Did you really have to gave your opinion? Cuz I felt unnecessary......." The Entity(In Thought) : [That was a bad idea, I really need to GET HIM OUT OF MY REALM, OR ELSE HE IS GOING TO REAP ALL OF THE SOUL HERE.]
While I doubt they would ever add this specific character to DBD, the idea of adding ominous whistling to a character's terror radius is such a good one.
I’d imagine his two abilities would be his whistle which would give him a buff and outline nearby players, but the players also get a speed boost, and the other would be his ring of fire, which traps players or items or locations temporarily, walking through the fire is an option but you’d obviously take damage
Here’s a little bit of lyrics I thought of for 1:50 : Answer for your crime The child of mankind Gone, run out of your time Now, this is where you shall die (It draws nears, blood runs cold) (Torn all life from your soul) (Deaths one none can control) (For you the bell shall toll)
his perks would probably be something like "i am death: the more survivors you hook you gain a token, 1 token makes your whistle radius wider, 3 tokens you get a little faster during a chase, 6 tokens you can mori a survivor but the tokens reset" "i love the smell of fear: when survivors heal in your radius you gain a token 1 token you can see blood better, 2 tokens you can hear them, 3 tokens whenever a survivor heals in your radius their aura is revealed" "you laugh in the face of death, right?: whenever your stunned the survivor screams 5 seconds after revealing themselves and they become slowed for 5 seconds"
I dont think theyd make him a full killer, but a Legendary Skin for Wraith would work really well i think, maybe custom bell sounds that reflect the whistle tune
STILL A WIP, MAY DO PERKS New paragraph: Fear of Death New Killer: The Wolf 4.6 Speed. 36m Terror Radius (48 for Deathlocked Survivors) Power - Grim Feeling You invoke fear and prey upon those who are alone and do not value their life, and take it. Upon entering chase with survivor for the first time in a trial, the survivor will gain Deathlock slowly as they are in chase with you. Deathlock builds even slower outside of chase if the survivor is alone. Deathlock does not build if in proximity of another survivor, and slowly drains if they are surrounded by more than 2 or more survivors. Deathlock does not build if downed or on hook. Upon atleast one Deathlock reaching 100%, all other deathlock timers pause and the Deathlocked survivor and you can see each other’s auras as long as you are not in chase (goes on 30 second cooldown after deathlocked survivor escapes chase). Deathlocked survivors suffer the cowardly effect if they have not been doing actions with other survivors. Cowardly gives them a 50% reduction to all “non chase” actions (Repairing, healing, cleansing, does not effect vaulting, pulling down pallets, etc.) You gain a 10% haste chasing any cowardly survivors, hit cooldowns and stun are 10% shorter. Survivors who were recently performing actions with others gain “Brave” and a 3% haste and stuns against you are 15% longer while in chase. Injured brave survivors can perform a block action as they are about to get hit, the killer and survivor enter a quick time event to mash space (addons can randomize it). If the survivor wins they do not take the hit (along with stunning the killer) and if killer wins they hit the survivor and downs them. Deathlock disappears if the Survivor is downed and other meters resume. A survivor will likely gain Deathlock 2-3 times per trial. A survivor would’ve have to been in chase atleast once before Deathlock starts building. Automatically starts to builds if you have not been in chase with them after the 4 minute mark, it builds much faster if not in chase by that point. Secondary ability: Flame of Death You lean closer to the ground and plant your sickles into the ground, upon releasing it, two small pillars of flame (They do not linger) curve off to the sides before connecting straight ahead of you, hitting any survivors caught in it.
Lore: Once after a daring cat that laughed at his pure existence, he asnt for a chase, but instead of going to the forest, he ends up in an rather... "unfamiliar" location.... The entity pulled him from the forest and is generous to The Wolf, granting him endless torment on those who also laugh at the face of death... The Wolf, willingly agreed to this joyful deal of endless torment and soul collection as now, he can smell fear as far as the scent of the humans can be tracked...
Killer: death "What's the matter? Life flashing before your eyes?" Map: ghost town Map gimmicks: Since the place is a ghost town, the lack of people in an urban area will slowly invoke uneasiness stacks on the players. Uneasiness stacks make players walk slower, and start looking around their environment uncontrollably. Uneasiness stacks are gained faster the closer death is to the player, but not in the chase scene, in which players gain fear stacks. More on that later. Uneasiness stacks can be ridded of by meeting other players. Death's abilities: Whistle: makes all players instantly gain 2 uneasiness stacks. Assimilation: tosses down death's spare coat. Players close to this coat will need to fight the urge to put the coat on by spamming a random button on the keyboard. Failing to do so will result in the player putting on the coat, and becoming one of death's minions. Other players can try to convince a minion to remove their coat, but the more uneasiness stacks the player has, the harder this is to do. fearful presence (passive): when chasing other players, they gain an exponential amount of fear stacks every collective 10 seconds in the chase sequence. Fear stacks' purpose are twofold. They make the player's hands twitch, making it harder to drop wooden boards and turn on generators. They also make the player hallucinate, viewing other players as a transparent version of death. Fear stacks can be removed via a minigame playable at any time. If you suceed in the minigame, you calm down, and 5-10 fear stacks are removed. Fail the minigame, and no fear stacks part ways. Remember that you are suseptable to death's attacks while the minigame is played. Smell of fear: locates all players with at least 10 fear stacks. The less fear stacks players have, the more vague this marker is. Quotes: Players win: "live your life. Live it well." Death wins: "i just LOVE the smell of FEAR!"
This is awesome! I would absolutely kill for you to maybe have a BioShock theme or a bendy theme in this series. Hell, I'd probably pay you to make them! You just do such an awesome job with these things.
Deaths pet. After being defeated by a Cat, he was sent unto his realm of dread by the Entity. He roams the crystal clear halls with no remorse nor mercy with his blades, his whistle... It bleeds fear into gis victims. ABILITIES: (Passive) Whistle: Slow down survivors in a 10/15/20 foot radius for 15 seconds Claws: Make a survivor go unto the Dying phase if in mele range, 60s cooldown. Freeze: Attack one survivor within 10 seconds to gain a slight speed boost, will not injure the survivors (Idk his voice lines)
I randomly found this after opening Twitter; god, I’m SO glad I did! This is incredible and fits the tension of Dead by Daylight and the sheer ominous and terrifying presence of The Wolf! The music alone is enough to make me visualize how a collab like that would look! I’m gonna sub, since this was some excellent work! Well done!
An interesting concept but... let's be honest, he'd HATE the Entity. In his eyes, the dead should stay dead. He would not be playing by the Entity's rules and either seek to free the survivors (since they shouldn't be imprisoned there in the first place) or kill them permanently (to grant them peace far away from the Entity's grasp). Either way, he would not let them be kept.
The Reaper 4.6 m/s 40m terror radius Power: Soul Collection 10 second cooldown Despite the problems you want to cause it, the Entity wants to make things fun. Press the ability button to throw your sickle, where it will hover in the air about 10m in front of you at the time it was thrown. pressing the ability again will recall it from wherever it is on the map. If a survivor is hit and it has not passed through any obstructions, the survivor loses a health state. If the sickle has passed through an obstruction, it inflicts deep wounds instead. If the sickle is thrown through a dropped pallet or breakable wall and recalled through it again, break that pallet or wall. The cooldown only starts upon the sickle reaching you on recall, and it travels as fast as a full charged Huntress Hatchet Pressing ability 2 puts you into predation mode. Your terror radius is reduced by 75%, you move on all fours, and you gain 40% haste. Survivors within normal terror radius but outside predation’s radius will hear your whistling song. You must exit predation mode to attack. Entering chase will end it immediately and hinder you by 15% for 2 seconds. Manually exiting it avoids the hinder effect, but takes 3 seconds to channel. Teachable Perks- Don't Fear the Reaper - Upon putting a survivor into the dying state, inflict all other survivors with blindness until 5/6/7 seconds after that survivor recovers from the state or is hooked. Life's fleeting flash - Survivors that recover from the injured state scream and become exposed for 5/10/15 seconds. Your last chance - Manually dropping a survivor recovers them from the dying state immediately, but they suffer broken for 40/50/60 seconds. The killer is not stunned by this action. If they are on their last hook and put back into the dying state by the killer before this broken status ends, they are susceptible to mori.
When I just watched Puss in Boots without being spoiled by the full thing I seen the scene where death whistle that Puss in Boots that really gives me chills down my spine when he whistles
This is freaking great! The Approaching and Near parts are really scary, with the whistle being so ominous. Not to mention that it's also stereo, changing sides all the time, disorienting the survivor while they try to find Death to not get caught. Death would probably be a character less about ambush, and more about chasing his prey to exhaustion. Just like irl wolfs and wild dogs do.
Death as a Huntress Concept skin (My idea) Singing: The singing is replaced by death's whistling Weapon: Sycle Axe From the Movie New Hachet Desgin: The Hachtes now are replaced with small sycles Map Change: If the map is Temple of Purgation or mothers housing, there will be a thunderstorm (or any map with a forest) New Weather Feature: Thunderstorm. While In chase thunders will strike, (they dont harm the Player) when striking the pupils of death get white instead of black for a split second (just like in the movie) Also theres more rain Mori Feature: After killing the survivor, death will carve a skull on his primary weapon for each moried survivor
I love these fanmade chase themes and it’s very interesting that they’re for killers that would be unlikely to be added but would be fun to see regardless. I’d love to see some for Sub-Zero (Bi-Han) from Mortal Kombat, the Carnival Master or the Collector from Escape the Night and since things like Spooky Month and Puss in Boots were in the cards for chase themes, what about one for Scary Girl from the Total Drama Island reboot?
Possible name for the killer: “The wolf” Possible power’s name: “Imminent death.” Possible killer perk names: “The death’s sickles.” “Panicking whistles.” “Death’s jaws.”
suggesting perks: Silent Maw You feel the survivors reaching their end. With the survivors fueled by fear, this allows you to be slick with your movement. When a survivor gets put in the dying state, all survivors are cursed with Oblivious and Blindness status effects for 60 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 180 seconds. _"Death is chasing me, Kitty!"_ -Puss Blood Trace You hear them crying in agony, begging for your mercy. But their time has come. *Put them out of their misery.* _You become obsessed with one survivor._ Bloodlust can no longer be lost until the chase has ended. When you hit your obsession, see their aura for 15 seconds. _"corre, gato."_ -Death
The Reaper’s power is: Last Wish. A Wishing Star will spawn close to the center of the trial grounds. The Reaper cannot claim the star, and it will give him a debuff if he tries to camp it. When a Survivor claims this star, they will get something good (like Nic Cage Dramaturgy with no negatives) like Haste, a rare item, etc. but trade a health state for it and become Broken for 60 seconds. After the Wishing Star is used, Last Wish activates. When this is active, Survivors who enter The Reaper’s Terror Radius gain Oblivious. This effect persists until the Wishing Survivor’s Broken status effect ends. If 2 or more Survivors use the star, they are afflicted with a constraining force that binds them through time and space: Soul Bind. If a Soul Bound Survivor is hit, the other ones will be injured if they are soul bound.
I don't think its mentioned enough, but the chime or toll of a bell as the music builds is honestly a really nice touch like an impending doom which you can start hearing around 1:25, which you could also interprit as a clock starting to tick. Your end draws near the sound of a bell tolling and the clock starts ticking, you can't afford to lose yourself now. this isn't the end, not yet.
I like the vibes of a slow and stalking-like track when he is far away, but an action-packed theme as you are running from a deity that will hunt you in wolf's clothing. Very well done!
This one makes alot of sense character wise due to well fitting the gameplay, Wolf is a hunter not a figther though he can hold his own when it comes to it. I say this because of remembering how sugarpunch described why Nick holan(if I remeber his name,he's a sciopathic killer from walking dead who focus on making people fear him) being in a fighting game removes his character, as yeah he doesn't work for that enviorment. He's man turned monster who reveleves in making others feel weak, so DBD is a perfect place of chasing those weaker than him down to torment. In Tekken where litterarl demons who can fire lasers, Men who can lift mountains and a literal bear. Yeah he's just some guy with a bat not really able to expressly put fear into his opponents. Death could work as he is a the embidement of it making him basically invincable, he'd be a character expressed in animation that he is truly immortal, via when he loses he's satisfied and gives up the hunt.
I love this concept a lot but if we're gonna be real, Death would absolutely despise the Entity. He sees life as a treasure worth valuing, so the idea of an entity that kidnaps people, plays with their lives, and bring them back for its entertainment would absolutely disgust him.
For The Damaged and For The Damaged Coda have been my all-time favorite songs for a long, long time. To me, they say that there are a lot of people suffering through whatever I'm suffering through, and that we all have each other to turn to for support and understanding. Coda is my battle cry from the suffering.
"The reaper" Wasted life, deserved death: After you leave chace with a survivor, that survivor is Marked for death. Only one survivor can be marked like this at a time. When a marked survivor is on a hook, their progress will be accelerated greatly as long as you are not in a chase or within 24 meters of the hook. If there are no hooked survivors, the marked survivor is Exposed. After the survivor is saved from the hook, they lose the mark Perks: Pick it up; Survivors not carrying any item are Hindered by 1/2/3%. An additional chest spawns in the trial. This perk cannot be used at the same time as Franklins demise. Scourge hook: Cowardice; Any survivor outside a 48/32/24 meter radius of a scourge hook with a survivor on it has their aura revealed Hex: Death whistle; This hex has a terror radius equal to yours. Every 30/25/20 seconds, the hex moves to a different dull totem if one is available
Ability: Death's call Manifest to a downed/deep wounded survivor 15 meters away from their position, indicated by a whistle Secondary ability: The whistle.(15 seconds, 60 second cooldown) Movement speed improved by 3-5%, any stuns received are halved in length and any pallets are destroyed twice as fast. Swinging, breaking pallets or being stunned disables this ability for the cooldown duration (Indicated by a whistle)
I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS IN MY RECCOMENDED i was so fucking ready for the next one of these i am clawing at the bard of my cage AOGUGHHUU your compositions and ideas are so cool with these
Please never stop with these man. Your creativity and ability to adapt things from nearly any genre into the action-horror dbd style while still keeping them true to their source material is legitimately so impressive and something I struggle to find anywhere else. Blows my mind every time. You are a creative visionary and I mean that unironically
Had the idea for maybe a Hive Thrall from Destiny? Like each time it downs someone it gets faster and once everyone has been downed atleast two or three times the next thing would allow the Thrall to immediately put that survivor into the dying state
I feel like Death would actually be opposed to the Entity because of it endlessly resurrecting people over and over again just to feed on their suffering, and thus depriving him of their souls over and over again, and in a way cheapening his very existence.
@@O-01-45YESS i love identity v its genuinely more fun than dbd imo
Some killers are opposed to the entity, if it really wanted to, it would pull an unknown and force it into the realm.
i feel the entity could actually use this to its favor, tormenting death with being unable to truly kill those whos time has come would only give the entity more emotion, maybe death could have perks related to this and help with mori'ing survivors or maybe his ability tied to it, i could definitely see the entity using this to toy with death and get even more emotion out of him
Now I'm just thinking how many of his voicelines would be perfect for dbd:
Starting chase:
"Corre, corre"
"Go ahead and run, makes it more fun"
Downing a survivor:
"Slow, sloppy, sad!"
"What's the matter? Life flashing before your eyes?"
Hooking a survivor:
"I just love the smell of FEAR"
Getting stunned:
"Por que diablos fui a jugar con mi comida?!"
"You're ruining this for me!"
"Bien, muy bien"
Witnessing a survivor escape:
"Live your life, live it well"
"You know we'll meet again, right?"
Making a survivor drop an item:
"Go on, pick it up!"
Downing Nic Cage:
"Hey, I never do this, but can I get your autograph?"
Mori:
"I think we've reached the end, you and I"
i love the nic cage one
Por que diabos fui a jugar con mi comida doesn't make Sense in this situation. The other 2 would Def fit(ok i I should have specified that it wouldn't make sense if the word had the same meaning as the movie)
Great idea👍
Themz some really great voiceline ideas
Starting round: "This is gonna be fun"
This feels more like the score for an action scene than something out of a horror game, but considering the nature of the character, that works pretty well. I imagine Death isn't working for the Entity, but is actually going behind its back in an attempt to bring a permanent end to the survivors. However, no matter how many times he harvests them, the Entity just seems to steal them back for another game every single time. Not sure how this would be represented in the mechanics, though.
Possibly like Myers or pyramid head, being so powerful that they can kill survivors without a mori
@@O-01-45How many times should they be knocked down before a Mori can be done on them?
Maybe six or eight or ten times?
@@cinderpxmpkin9554 In idv it takes 3 downs to insta-bleed out someone, but I think four or 5 before being moriable would be more fair for dbd.
Maybe instead of hooking them normally, he just pins them to the ground, causing them to "fade away" when they'd normally be captured by the Entity.
I like how the chase music isn't necessarily scary but it's still thrilling. It feels like a fierce final fight rather than a merciless chase.
I think that’s why Wesker has one of my favorite chase themes. It is a thrilling chase but it also feels like a climactic final encounter in an rpg game.
It is the final fight because you are going against death...straight up.
@@-_deploy_- not metaforicly, figuratively, or any other way.
@@MrMoron-qn5rxsince well unlike a certain cat, you do respect death, so death is less mercilessly chasing you and more granting a challenge.
Life's challenge.
Kinda like Weskers chase music?
I imagine death would have his whistle as a lullaby like Onryo or Huntress. Very nice.
he's a stealthy killer, watching from the shadows, but ever present.
@mythmage8231 a mix of Myers and demogorgan, with the whistle as a lullaby. That would be really cool
I can imagine him playing like wraith, but with less stealth and more pressure.
@liamatte It could but it's nonsense because the hatches power at least for now are irreplaceable I think Twins it's a good decision and it could be The cat with boots as Victor that's a possibility.
I love that you make chase themes for unlikely Killers. Dbd can be so much more, the possibilities are endless.
It's why I love it even if some ideas are ridiculous. But it can be done as long as the horror theme stays 😊

Perfectly fits killer role. Now we need a mod to add him as playable one.
Ask someone to rip his model from DreamWorks All Star Kart Racing
Nuh uh man, this needs a chapter
I like the idea of Death's whistling being an extra thing on top of his terror radius, like Huntress' lullaby.
I personally think it would be a great sound cue for power usage at a certain distance.
Or a taunt
Dbd has audio taunts right?
Killer: Reaper of Death
Backstory: The physical embodiment of death, he hates it when people take life for granted, and after sensing how many take it for granted, he decided to join the fun to show true death.
Power: Whistling Fear
Description: The wolf knows that as much as eerie quietness or loud screaming can be fearful, he shows fear through a low whistle, putting gradual fear into everyone.
Can only do this once per chase, with a cooldown of 100/80/60 seconds
Perk 3: Death’s Revenge - You have a job to do, and when others interfere with that job, you get mad.
Mori 2: Max Fear meter final hook - Death watches as the survivor scampers, trying to run as he whistles the entire time, as he teleports in front of them and swings his sickle up, bringing the sickle from the neck out their mouth as he bathed in the blood, and drops them on the ground, all the while whistling his tune.

death would actually hate the realm, simply because the very concept of himself is pretty much nonexistent, so he'd be a killer that hates the entity and the realm
According to lore many of The Killers aren't too fond of the entity either so he'd be in good company.
Another commentor said a pretty neat concept, death is actually not working with the entity, rather he actively hijacked his way into the realm in-order to kill the victims for good, but unfortunately the entity still seems to bring them back and continue the game
So he'd be like Myers and piramid head, having power to kill survivors in trial without the need of the entity.
It's actually incredible how well and naturally you were able to implement the whistle and the last fight's theme to make it sound like a real DbD chase music! After the Mandela Catalogue one this is yet another banger.
Amazing job! 10/10!
My ideas for The Wolf's perks:
Perk 1: Death Manifested
They used to laugh at the face of death, but no one's laughing now.
Perk 2: Joy of Hunting
The smell of fear is intoxicating.
Perk 3: End of the Line
They can try to take the cowards way out, but you're both well aware how it ends.
I'm sorry.. as in they can be mori'd?
I love them, I think some people would complain about death manifested but it seems fair to me,
Joy of hunting is unique and fun,
And I always love me a perk that lets you mori people, though maybe it takes a second before their aura is revealed or something? Since it would basically just be an instant loss for the survivor team the moment you kill 3 people.
All in all, fun ideas though!

Out of all impossible DBD killers, I think this is the one I'd want the most in the game. The voicelines would be great, the whistle could be one hell of a lullaby, his design is fantastic, it's already a pretty iconic villain, and the game still doesn't have a werewolf-esque type of monster.
Imagine you hear the whistle at the beginning of the match 0:01

Ok, now that would give me chills down my spine
With Shrek as a survivor
-he can use his “ogre roar” to stun the killer
-onions to heal other survivors

i think one of jack's bakers makes more sense as a survivor
@@spaceacepl4636If Death is being added in this hypothetical situation, then I’d say Puss should be the survivor, sure he might be a bit shorter but everyone said Chucky couldn’t be in the game since he was too small, but here we are
@@Mikenike23 in that case he should also have a perk that lets him fight back, similarily to decisive strike
@@spaceacepl4636 Maybe some kind of parry that could work like a skill check, if done right it stuns the killer but can only be used maybe once per chase
@@Mikenike23 maybe the stun could last longer than a normal palette stun?
A neat detail for the Wolf would be to replace the the nine lives markings on his sickles with a series of tally marks that track how many hooks a survivor has gone through in a Trial.
This probably would never happen in a million years. But if it did, I'd main him immediately. Imagine him like a mix between Ghostface and Pyramid head. He's a stealth killer, but also can use his fire walls like in the movie to cut off avenues of escape for the survivors. Either the firewalls are impossible to pass through or they just take a health state to run through.
He'd be a stealth killer but with a constant lullaby to just instill fear in you because you know he's watching

Imagine Death saying that as he finds you and chases you in this game. Would be very cool and terrifying, wouldn't it?
from "death is not an escape" to "you cannot escape death"
Death probably hates the entity for giving the survivors so many lives. So many times do they die but he never gets to take their sould. He enters the realm, deciding to take matters into his own hands.
My jaw freaking dropped when you used the "fight with death" score for the chase theme, GENIUS!!!
Can't wait to play as the new survivor; Puss in Boots lol
"The Reaper is a death-delivering killer who seeks to bring a quick but savory end to his victims by using the abilities of his chosen wolf form to sniff out the fear in his prey and close their casket for good."
His personal perks, *Each Frivolous End*, *The Coward's Way Out*, and *Intoxicant Ichor* aid him in his hunt by granting several chase bonuses while also hobbling survivors too fearful to support their fellow allies.
For Puss:
Perks:
1.) Fearless Hero:
You rather sacrifice yourself for others.
While the Killer picks up a survivor within 32m from you, Fearless Hero activates for 10 seconds.
Once Killer hits you with a basic attack within duration of this perk, the carried survivor will be freed from the Killers grasp.
Has a cooldown of 90 seconds
"Who is your favorite fearless hero?" ~ Puss in Boots
2.) Fear me, if you dare:
Once Killer enters bloodlust while chasing you, you also gain a 10% speed boost for 5 seconds.
Causes Exhausted.
Can't be activated while Exhausted
"No bounty hunter has ever defeated me" ~ Puss in Boots
3.) Last Life:
You refuse to die just yet.
When downed at the second hook phase, this perk activates for 90 seconds.
During that duration, hooking or killing by hand (Mori) will be cancelled, stunning the Killer and putting you into Deep Wound state in the process.
Can only be activated once.
"I will fight for this life" ~ Puss in Boots
For Death:
Perks:
1.) The Smell of Fear
You crave for your victims fear.
Once entering and all-throughout the duration of Bloodlust, you will see the aura of all Survivors within your Terror Radius
"I just love the smell of fear!" La Muerte
2.)Hex: Lives Flashing before your Eyes
Activates when a survivor cleanses or blesses a totem.
Survivors will be able to see their own scratch marks.
However, scratch marks will be more visible and will last 5 seconds longer.
Scratch Marks are will still be visible even within Boon range
"What's the matter, lives flashing before your eyes?" ~ La Muerte
3.) Till' we meet again.
One may escape Death once. But when he comes back, he won't give you a second chance.
Each time you let a survivor escape, you gain one token. You can collect up to 2 tokens
While chasing a survivor for 3 seconds, that survivor will be Exposed until you hit him or her.
Even if that survivor escaped, he or she will remain Exposed.
It consumes one token.
"We will meet again, Gato" ~ La Muerte

Death is a skilled combatant with different battle techniques depending on what form his weapon is.
Press the power button to enter into Whistle of Death mode.
While in Whistle of Death, you have no red stain but increased terror radius.
Your scythes are detached from each other, holding each on both hand
You walk on a crouch-like position which making vaulting faster.
Grants the ability to vault through pallets but you cannot break them in that mode.
You can do a basic attack while performing a vault which will make him swing both his scythes outward as he lands covering a semi-circle radius which is advantageous when survivor is trying to escape through a window or a pallet.
You can't pick up survivor on this mode
Press the power button again to go to Straight Up mode (starting form).

I’d imagine his two abilities would be his whistle which would give him a buff and outline nearby players, but the players also get a speed boost, and the other would be his ring of fire, which traps players or items or locations temporarily, walking through the fire is an option but you’d obviously take damage

"i love the smell of fear: when survivors heal in your radius you gain a token 1 token you can see blood better, 2 tokens you can hear them, 3 tokens whenever a survivor heals in your radius their aura is revealed"
"you laugh in the face of death, right?: whenever your stunned the survivor screams 5 seconds after revealing themselves and they become slowed for 5 seconds"

New paragraph: Fear of Death
New Killer: The Wolf
4.6 Speed. 36m Terror Radius (48 for Deathlocked Survivors)
Power - Grim Feeling
You invoke fear and prey upon those who are alone and do not value their life, and take it.
Secondary ability: Flame of Death
You lean closer to the ground and plant your sickles into the ground, upon releasing it, two small pillars of flame (They do not linger) curve off to the sides before connecting straight ahead of you, hitting any survivors caught in it.
Lore:
Once after a daring cat that laughed at his pure existence, he asnt for a chase, but instead of going to the forest, he ends up in an rather... "unfamiliar" location....
The entity pulled him from the forest and is generous to The Wolf, granting him endless torment on those who also laugh at the face of death...
The Wolf, willingly agreed to this joyful deal of endless torment and soul collection as now, he can smell fear as far as the scent of the humans can be tracked...
he would be more scary than every other killer
you can only prolong death
escape is not winning
Killer: death
"What's the matter? Life flashing before your eyes?"
Map: ghost town
Map gimmicks:
Since the place is a ghost town, the lack of people in an urban area will slowly invoke uneasiness stacks on the players.
Death's abilities:
Whistle: makes all players instantly gain 2 uneasiness stacks.
Quotes:
Players win: "live your life. Live it well."
Death wins: "i just LOVE the smell of FEAR!"
This is exactly what Puss in Boots hears whenever Death is nearby.

If the sickle is thrown through a dropped pallet or breakable wall and recalled through it again, break that pallet or wall. The cooldown only starts upon the sickle reaching you on recall, and it travels as fast as a full charged Huntress Hatchet
Pressing ability 2 puts you into predation mode.
Teachable Perks-
Don't Fear the Reaper - Upon putting a survivor into the dying state, inflict all other survivors with blindness until 5/6/7 seconds after that survivor recovers from the state or is hooked.
This is absolutely amazing. It would be even better if we could have the loop version of every terror radius and the chase music.
MY LIGHT STARTED FLICKERING WHEN I STARTED PLAYING THIS
the way his whistle gives me huntress vibes because of her lullaby, imagining listening to him whistling the whole match- JESUS
Dude this sounds like a Horror Fighting track. Like you had enough and now you want to throw hands
Death as a Huntress Concept skin (My idea)
Singing: The singing is replaced by death's whistling
Weapon: Sycle Axe From the Movie
New Hachet Desgin: The Hachtes now are replaced with small sycles
Map Change: If the map is Temple of Purgation or mothers housing, there will be a thunderstorm (or any map with a forest)
New Weather Feature: Thunderstorm.
While In chase thunders will strike, (they dont harm the Player) when striking the pupils of death get white instead of black for a split second (just like in the movie)
Also theres more rain
Mori Feature: After killing the survivor, death will carve a skull on his primary weapon for each moried survivor
And at the end of that mori kill, he has a glass and looks into it, with the killed survivor's soul inside of it
Dude I clicked this thinking it would be the dumbest thing ever then realized just how scary that whistle is...
I literally love your music man , good job !!
When you think about it death would be a really good dbd killer. Like imagine this huge ass wolf taking chase after you with incredible speed.
New Survivor: Puss in boots
New Killer: Death
New map: (forgot the town where he was adopted)
I love how when he's nearby you hear the whistling more clearly, amazing job!
Possible name for the killer: “The wolf”
Possible power’s name:
“Imminent death.”
Possible killer perk names:
“The death’s sickles.”
“Panicking whistles.”
“Death’s jaws.”
I wonder how the comments will choose how the abilities and the thingy's would work
@@Phill_the640thsomeone commented an idea that maybe he’s unable to hook the survivors but they bleed out much faster.
How about "The Reaper"?
suggesting perks:
Silent Maw
You feel the survivors reaching their end. With the survivors fueled by fear, this allows you to be slick with your movement.
When a survivor gets put in the dying state, all survivors are cursed with Oblivious and Blindness status effects for 60 seconds.
This perk has a cooldown of 180 seconds.
_"Death is chasing me, Kitty!"_
-Puss
Blood Trace
You hear them crying in agony, begging for your mercy. But their time has come. *Put them out of their misery.*
_You become obsessed with one survivor._
Bloodlust can no longer be lost until the chase has ended.
When you hit your obsession, see their aura for 15 seconds.
_"corre, gato."_
-Death
"The grim reaper" is a good name for him.
Omg we need this but as a huntress skin. Sickle instead of an axe, whistling for the lullaby... it's perfect
I love this concept a lot but if we're gonna be real, Death would absolutely despise the Entity. He sees life as a treasure worth valuing, so the idea of an entity that kidnaps people, plays with their lives, and bring them back for its entertainment would absolutely disgust him.
It also count as an insult to his face like Puss does.
"Death is not an escape." The line that enough to fuels the Reaper'fury
You cant tease me like this. now I need this in game.
It would be so cool if death's whistle would work just like the huntress' lullaby
tha aproching passage is so niiiiiice
For The Damaged and For The Damaged Coda have been my all-time favorite songs for a long, long time. To me, they say that there are a lot of people suffering through whatever I'm suffering through, and that we all have each other to turn to for support and understanding. Coda is my battle cry from the suffering.
"The reaper"
Wasted life, deserved death:
After you leave chace with a survivor, that survivor is Marked for death. Only one survivor can be marked like this at a time. When a marked survivor is on a hook, their progress will be accelerated greatly as long as you are not in a chase or within 24 meters of the hook. If there are no hooked survivors, the marked survivor is Exposed. After the survivor is saved from the hook, they lose the mark
Perks:
Pick it up; Survivors not carrying any item are Hindered by 1/2/3%. An additional chest spawns in the trial. This perk cannot be used at the same time as Franklins demise.
Scourge hook: Cowardice; Any survivor outside a 48/32/24 meter radius of a scourge hook with a survivor on it has their aura revealed
Hex: Death whistle; This hex has a terror radius equal to yours. Every 30/25/20 seconds, the hex moves to a different dull totem if one is available
Ability: Death's call
Manifest to a downed/deep wounded survivor 15 meters away from their position, indicated by a whistle
Secondary ability: The whistle.(15 seconds, 60 second cooldown)
Movement speed improved by 3-5%, any stuns received are halved in length and any pallets are destroyed twice as fast.
Swinging, breaking pallets or being stunned disables this ability for the cooldown duration
(Indicated by a whistle)
It'd be so cool if after hitting a survivor, he'd say something like "Corre, corre, cobarde.."
This is why death is a great villain that says something with stuff like frobo exists....
How does this man make this good of dbd themes. Making the threat of death have a perfect ambiance.
I love this theme so much that I put it on repeat listening to it amp up in tension as he gets closer.....
Super cool!!! But how the entity is going to kidnap the manifestation of death himself
I would pay so much money for death to be a licensed skin for huntress like it would replace her lullaby and what not
I WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS IN MY RECCOMENDED i was so fucking ready for the next one of these i am clawing at the bard of my cage AOGUGHHUU your compositions and ideas are so cool with these
Gets pallet stunned "Go on run! Makes it more fun for me"
Oh I wanted death (or lobo) to be in DBD for a long time now
Please never stop with these man. Your creativity and ability to adapt things from nearly any genre into the action-horror dbd style while still keeping them true to their source material is legitimately so impressive and something I struggle to find anywhere else. Blows my mind every time. You are a creative visionary and I mean that unironically
I LOVE the way the chase theme sounds like the final showdown theme from the film, "The Fight with Death." Such a perfect tribute
People of the comment section, what concepts do you have for me today
Had the idea for maybe a Hive Thrall from Destiny? Like each time it downs someone it gets faster and once everyone has been downed atleast two or three times the next thing would allow the Thrall to immediately put that survivor into the dying state
MX from Mario PC port or Mario 85'
@@hellfactory3739 we could use creepypastas In the game 🤔
evil remy ratatouille
Mary Shaw from Dead silence
Oh wow, this just came out! Cool!
