What is Generation of assemblies and Automated drafting in Solidworks ?
hey can explain what is 'QPS' in exploded view
Sir, I want to download your videos for my learning purpose, please allow me.
thanx...................
Thank YOU for watching!
Thanks allot man u solved my fking problm great man..:)
We are always happy to help. Thanks for watching.
Quick question. After you've made your exploded view, is there a way to show how the parts connect via connecting lines, that could zigzag through the connecting components and through all the holes, so that a picture can be used instead of a video?
I hope the question was clear.
Otherwise, this video was great! Thanks.
Yes, once you have created an 'Explode View' you can then create an 'Explode Line Sketch' (via 'Insert', 'Explode Line Sketch'). This tool allows you to select vertices of your model in the explode view to show how each part connects into the assembly.
Thanks!
I would like to use this video to help my students understand how to do assemblies and exploded view animations. Would you be okay with us using this video in our curriculum? Would you also be willing to share the part files with us so we have an assembly that matches the video?
The video supplied freely so use it where you need it. This particular file set is part of the SolidWorks Essentials training file set you can download here (www.solidworks.com/sw/support/807_ENU_HTML.htm?product=SOLIDWORKS%20CAD).
can u help me please when i exploded any other element my first element went back to its position where it was before
Hi Ameer,
Your situation does not sound familiar. It will likely require technical help beyond what can be offered in the comments section of RUclips. You will want to loop in your SOLIDWORKS VAR (they can be found here: www.solidworks.com/sw/purchase/varlocator.htm ) for assistance in diagnosing and fixing this issue.
Tip: save as mkv instead of default avi. For a part like this, avi would be 60MB, and mkv would be 0.5MB.
Thanks.
We appreciate you watching.
How do you make the AVI file smaller in order to be sent via email?
Perhaps the best approach to this problem would be to save out an AVI from SolidWorks using maximum quality settings then convert that video to a more efficient format that has a smaller file size like MP4 x264. You can find free software to make that conversion. Once such software is Freemake Video Converter (www.freemake.com/free_video_converter/).
compress it or upload it on a private webservice.
Good, thanks. But I would like to point it out that from the first word I thought I was talking to Saul Goodman. You have the same voice
thanks,
How the parts mirror on ground like that?
Hi Abdo,
Whether there is a ground reflection is determined by the applied "Scene" in the model. You can go to the icon of a colored ball on a check floor and apply other scenes to the model to see which have floor reflections or, in more recent versions than this video shows, go into the 'DisplaPane' at the top of the FeatureManager tree and edit the scene to have a reflective floor.
Are you Saul Goodman?
