This also reminded me of Cardcaptor Sakura's first episode, where Sakura's response to a giant bird was to pull some rollerblade tricks to jump on top of it.
You know what's even funnier? Brock suggests that they could just wait for the drawbridge to lower again, but Ash screams "there's no time!" and rushes to jump it.
I wish they were more consistent about Jesse's backstory though - it seems to change with every telling! Was she a poor, to the point where her caretakers had to pass off snow as food? Or did she live in a giant castle with tons of toys and servants? Was she raised by her bio mother? Or did her mother instead die in a Team Rocket operation leaving her orphaned and in foster care? Was she a bike gang member? A model? An actor? A failed nurse? The writers sure don't seem to know!
@@SpeedBoostTorchic it appears that she was poor and raised by adoptive parents and her mother died while looking for new, but then in order to try get her lost mother's attention she did many jobs, and before joining team rocket she was part of a bike gang, then she and james split but met up again when both where paired up by team rocket At least thats waht most people say when they talk about her backstory, honestly it makes the most sense
