    You have no idea what a breath of fresh air this video is to me! ♥️ I’ve been watching a lot of these videos to see what I would need afterwards and all the other RUclipsrs have a whole list of things! Lol I’m trying to save some money so I was thinking the hospital stuff is probably not great but I’m really happy to hear that it is!! ♥️ thank you so much!

      Same! I’ve been worrying if I’ll have the right stuff and heard that birth is super painful but I’ve also heard that the postpartum is worse…soo I’ve had a lot of fear. But this video helped me so much❤❤❤

      @@jasminebyrd6446 I gave birth the other day (natural) and just writing to let you know.. you definitely do not need all the extra stuff!! ♥️ the hospital gives you everything. Just make sure on the last day, you ask for everything that you’ve been using. At my hospital, they gave me pads, numbing spray, bottle spray to wash down there, witch hazel pads, mesh undies plus I got to take all the baby stuff too lol so the diapers/wipes, etc. ♥️

      @@gianellaaaa congratulations! 🎉
      My baby is 8 months old. 😊 the hospital will send you home with the stuff you’re using while in there, if you ask for it. I was also told to take the extras off the cart for baby when they bring them back from the nursery. I wish I had known about the numbing spray and witch hazel pads! I had a very difficult delivery and had to be taken to the OR immediately after delivering so I am guessing that’s why I didn’t find out about everything!

    I know what you’re talking about! I also was unable to get an epidural. And when I was about to have her I thought I had to go to the bathroom and they were like no the baby is coming you are going to start pushing. And it felt like I pushed her out, like you’re saying in the other part like I pooped her out, lol TMI SORRY. I came to this video bc I saw today your announcement on baby #2!!!! I am so excited for you guys! Ivey is going to be the best sister. And through you I have began Bible study bc your relationship with God has been such an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing your life. You are an incredible lady!

      Awe yay! So glad you found this helpful. Personally, YES. It made me feel so much more relaxed once it was turned on. I know my delivery would’ve been a breeze if I had epidural when it was time.

    I would seriously cry if I was allergic to shrimp or crab!! Not long ago I thought that I was starting to have allergic reactions to shrimp when I went to eat it but then it stopped so I guess I either will myself for it not to be true or it was something else that I was eating that I just couldn’t pinpoint.

    • @peggymcdonald3983
      @peggymcdonald3983 Год назад

      I had the same issues with my first and my epidural. My son was 6 weeks early and I was in labor for 36 hours. When I finally got my epidural I was being turned from side to side and whenever they turned me I would be able to feel a section of my back & abdomen when I would contract. I was making no progress and so my doctor and my parents and my husband all went to lunch and we had planned on doing a C-section when they got back. My nurse did come in and I kept telling her I was feeling a lot a lot of pressure and she goes oh it’s probably just the contractions it will be OK. I was like no this is different I feel so much pressure down there and finally I convinced her to go ahead and check me and she literally took one look, stuck her hand between my legs, and started grabbing for my emergency, call button. She was frantically trying to get more help. My doctor made it through the door in time to catch basically. My husband, my parents, and the doctor at about that time we’re coming back up the elevator from lunch and he heard the call and they all ran for the room because I went from basically a 4 to a 10 in less than an hour! Then, he was born very very fast, he had his cord wrapped around his neck which is why he wasn’t progressing and moving down so it was really dangerous. I also tore not as badly as I did with my second with my second, I tore the worst you could tear from one end to the other literally it’s awful! I would not worry or wish that pain and discomfort and recovery on anyone. However, my third and last child, my only baby girl was by far the hardest, pregnancy, birth delivery. All of that to say that it’s a miracle, and you may forget how scary and traumatizing and everything you were Going through at the time but the blessing at the end is just so unbelievably tremendous! My babies are all grown in college, and out in the real world working, and in the Navy, and it goes by way too fast, so soak in it and take it vantage of every second you have with your baby girl you can’t ever get it back! I know this is a couple years back and you may not ever see this comment, but I just discovered you guys and wanted to start at the beginning of your story. In your shorts and your interview with Matt & Abby you were so positive and sweet and entertaining and I’m very thankful that there are people here on this app that are willing to share their positive stories and positive outlook‘s with people like me who are disabled, and really don’t have any place to go or friends to have except here in this RUclips community.

    Make sure if you have low iron that you continue your prenatals.

    • @user-yc4zg9hy5o

      This is bad advice, as prenatal vitamins mess with your hormones during and after pregnancy and increase the likelihood of postpartum depression.
