I had a classmate who died in a fire when we were 3rd year students and this was his favorite song... Another classmate of mine made a video using the pictures and videos we have of him. This was the song he used in the video. On the day of our graduation, we used this song in the video compilation we have of the moments we had together with our deceased classmate. We all sang and remembered him as we ended our graduation. It was unfortunate that he didn’t get to climb the stage with us. However, I believe that he climbed way ahead of us to wait and congratulate us as we climb the last stage of our lives. I believe he is still watching over us from above and is guiding us as we live our lives.

If I were going to talk about Pinoy best Rock band of the mid 80's until era of the 90's then i'd pick this iconic Pinoy Rockband, to be known as the "DAWN". And the song I always looked up from them is the best masterpiece i've ever heard! This song title "Salamat" is also chosen to performed by so many and it keeps to be jammed by almost amateurs and professionally inclined rock band for the message is so meaningfull and the lyrics of the songs seems to be genuine for the unity, and of course true camaraderie of every Filipino's friendship's solidarity of brotherhood and sisterhood. It may always be A rock sound to be considered as the legacy up to now, to this present mellinial generations for it seems to be an epic song. For the lead vocalist of the DAWN, sir Jet Pangan and the rest of the band, i truly salute you! More Power..
