Oh boy, your tank collection is growing FAST. That's a lot of maintenance there. But you still manage to look organized! I like that you filmed the work it takes, and not just show us the before and after edits.
Oh David, it was your recommendation! I can never remember who says what! But thank you! It makes all of my tanks look amazing. I don't know what I did before them, living like some sort of primitive cave-person!! :-)
The tanks are looking good. That’s the nice things about reefing for awhile is the amount of gear you wind up collecting. 😁 some of it comes in handy when you need it. 👌
You may want to consider investing in a Python drain hose. You hook it to your facet and it creates a suction that drains the water. Much easier than hauling 5 gallon buckets.
Yeah, for sure. The only problem is my sink is really far away. I actually use a 32 gallon trash can with rollers but I just didn't in this video! Thanks for watching!
That desk was failing because it looks like that center line is the main structural support. Great content, bummer on the broken tank and the mess it made. Keep up the great content and I hope to here the new stuff next week.
Looking good mate. I did the same with my fist tank but I had aquarium sealant handy so just fixed it. Easy done. I’m about to try some mollies in my qt to keep it running and hopefully algae free. Got some seriously impressive gha in there! 😂😂😂
Thanks BravoTwenty! I've chipped so many tanks by this point, you would think I'd be more careful! Good luck with that qt! GHA is a beast! I had it all over my harem tank, and it took me a good three months to defeat it, but I won!
Yeah I just saw that. I'm contemplating getting the new mount. When I started with reef breeder lights they came with side mounts but now they have that really cool back mount. I might have to pick one up!
The scratch on the new car hurt; definitely something I would have done. No way am I ever going to film myself maintaining the tank. It would look like comedy hour. My tank is located in the living room so my best friend has been a plastic blue tarp from Harbor Freights :-)
Blue tarp, that is a great idea! I find that the more i screw up the more people like my videos! I think we all enjoy knowing we are not alone with out inadequacies!!!
@@MyFirstFishTank Hey we all screw up but it's just nice to know we aren't alone. Your videos and advice certainly help me avoid more than a few mistakes that I know I would have made on my own. Take care.
Man you have a lot of lights there, I always reuse my lights no matter what but great videos. Love that you showed everything not just switched to the tank being done and looking pristine. I was going to ask you where you got the table because it looked cool but I guess it is aluminum so it can't support the weight by itself.
Hey Garry, the table is my neighbors. Its really heavy and I figured it would work, and it seems to be fine now that I braced it, but definitely not ideal! Thanks for watching
Your videos are awesome. Maybe I have missed it. Have you done a video on placment of wavemakers and powerheads? I am new and have no corals as of now and have no idea wherr to place them.
Hey Finley, thanks for watching and the kind words. I haven't done a specific video on that topic, but I think I cover it in a my ten part series I did with Marine Depot. Here is the link to the playlist. ruclips.net/p/PL_9XSWQZldtHkPRqfyLZyK9_I7wyjRT5Y
Time to buy a new fish tank....oh wait, I have 3 in my garage🤣. Things are coming along nicely! Are the clowns going to the anenome side once you get that set up?
I know, ridiculous! Not yet sure what to do with the clowns on the right. I think they'll have to stay there for now actually because the left side will be full of antibiotics. Maybe it's time for another tank?!!!
There is a reason they make Aquarium stands. Wait till that 2x4 gets bumped and both tanks come crashing to the floor
Thanks for the positive vibes Alex! 😂

For sure! I think everybody should see all of the crap that goes into it all! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Yay!! You used the cable sheathes! 😄

yeah for sure. I think it's going to hold just fine with that 2x4... assuming that I don't know it out! Thanks Chris!
@@MyFirstFishTank you absolutely did the right thing
dude you deserve so many more subscribers, awsome tanks!
Thanks, you are too kind! Slow but steady right!?!?
I miss your vlogs like this!
Killers edits! awesome video today man! Really enjoyed it
Stephen, so kind of you! I appreciate the support! :-)
Big love from Birmingham England! Great videos dude!
Sweet, thanks for watching!!! :-)
You should probably make an inventory spreadsheet for all the gear you have grouped by what they are and weather they are currently being used
Yeah, that would definitely be a fantastic idea!
You have more supplies stashed in your garage than some LFS! Good to see regular videos again
I know, it's crazy how much crap I've collected over the years! And thanks for sticking with me during my month off!!!

Hi Eduardo, and thanks for watching!!
Great job getting so much done and thanks for taking us through it with you.
Your gear stash is awesome 😋
Thanks! I can't believe how much gear I've accumulated over the years! kind of ridiculous!
Jams.. once again.. loving your content man.
Appreciate it! :-)
Reef breeders has a great aquarium mount. You might like it.

Great video Matt! 😀👍
Great video as always 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇬🇧
Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers!
I'm guessing the new tank will be the innovative marine 25 lagoon, I currently have the 50 lagoon and love it. Great video by the way keep it coming 👌
Lol I guess I did get far before my comment lol

As a fellow Matt, you have almost as much bad luck as me when trying to do fish stuff.
Well Matt, do we have bad luck or do we make poor decisions!?!? Let's go with bad luck!!! :-)
We all have days like this
So true!!
Love from Bangladesh
Tell more about chiller and its power consumpsion plz..
Not sure how much power it consumes, but here is a link. www.bulkreefsupply.com/jbj-arctica-chiller-1-10-hp.html

I’ll buy the light off you!
Why Thanks Lincoln! But I'll hold onto it for now because I just never know when I'll need another light!
👍
Thanks Brian!!
As an expert I love your videos but dude your destroying your house! Lol. Cheers
how does one maintain so may tanks?! 😂
Lot's of patience, and the fact that I can do it as a part of my job, that helps immeasurably!!!
