During the summer, lobster rolls are very popular here on Long Island. It is lobster chunks mixed with a little mayonnaise, chopped celery and onion served in a hotdog roll. Be well!
So relaxing to watch. That Larry was a belter! The end always gets me...😂 Do I prefer watching Nigella or Smash fishing’s taste test at the end??? Smash you win 👍😂
Fantastic forage Smash! That lobster was a beaut! Lovely to see the seaweeds swaying through clear water in that sunlight. Definitely making the most of those early foraging tides. Keep up the good work mate 😊👌
Try quartering the lobster and simmer for 8 mins, then cover with ice. To finish I use kitchen sizzors to open. Season the water with Himalayan salt , old bay and a splash of olive oil 🤙🍸🍾🍶
Best meal I ever had was in Western Cape, camping trip with locals who are friends. 20 lobster tails bought from the local fishing village. Cooked in curry, in a cauldron. Sitting on the beach enjoying it, watching the sun go down. SA is an amazing country, and in my opinion, I have travelled a fair bit, the most beautiful country in the world.
A little bit of white vinegar in the boil helps the meat to not stick to the shell. Just a dash and it make the meat a bit sweeter. Nice video good job.
You guys have the knack of finding whatever you go foraging for on the Guernsey beaches. You know everywhere so well. Did you follow in your fathers footsteps since you were a young lad!! Do you know why Lobsters and ormers are so more plentiful in Guernsey compared to Jersey? I remember it was so exhilarating when ever I found even one ormer or one lobster . Am in Greece now and live watching the show!!👍
Awesome as always Jay! It’s like a pre night time ritual for me, catch up on any missed smash videos and posts and then go to sleep starving because the catch and cooks always look outstanding! Been meaning to ask as well what does the oarmer taste like? Every time you’ve cooked them they always look 10/10 but don’t look to appetising raw 😂😂 great content as always!! You could have been a top friend and taken the other half of the baguette to SamTree in work 👀👀
