I am a Hunter Douglas dealer in Canada, and went on youtube to find a video to send a client to show powerview in a video form. This was so good! Thank you for putting together, very informative, correct information, clear, and up to date also, showing the rechargeable battery wand etc. Better than any that HD has out right now, thanks!

Hands-down THE best and informative video I've ever seen for ANY window treatment, but especially ones like these. The details of the challenges and options to overcome those challenges are all spot-on. And the explanation of why specialized windows require a significant investment in product and dealer expertise are perfectly stated. Bravo!

I have embeded this video into my window coverings website and I am HD priority dealer. Please let me know if you want me to take it down. It's a great informative video so I thank you for such a great video.

Hunter Douglas motorized power windows are piece of junk and avoid all time. After so many years in business they still not able to make proper motorized blinds.

What do you believe is "improper" about them? I have had HD blinds very much like these (but older tech) for ~10 years in my home. Other than the pain of changing the batteries every year, and a single instance of needing to reset one of the blinds by pushing a button on the blind, they've worked consistently. The only other thing I can think of is that I might wish the ones I have supplied an open API for integrating with custom software. But: they move consistently, stop at the same spot, and have not broken down over many years of daily use. What more do you want?

While I don't have the motorized version, I have the manual Top down, bottom up Hunter Douglas blinds in my entire house and I can tell you they are also JUNK. The clutch component on them breaks repeatedly. In the last 12 years since outfitting most of the windows in our house with them, we have had to have them repaired at a cost of $95.00 for each one, each time they have broken. They are on 9 windows and each one has broken at least twice and in some cases 3 times. To make it worse, Hunter Douglas customer service has essentially folded their arms and claimed there is nothing they can do to further help me. I told them I would be exposing them on Social Media and YT is as good as any a place to start.
