- March 2024 - Taipei is a friendly and vibrant city. So much to do. But I just like to wander around and enjoy good food when I get hungry. The food choices are limitless! On my must see list this time was to stop by the Cat Cafe in Shilin. Unlike most commercial cat cafes, the proprietors are kind and caring for these rescued cats and dogs. This is Part 1. I look forward to editing Part 2 for you in the coming weeks.

Thank you for taking us along on your travels. I know so little about Taiwan-this was awesome to watch + learn from. The sushi looks fabulous, and the meat + greens dish at the end-YUM! I have never been to a cat or dog cafe… the people who run this are angels. What beautiful animals (the black + white tuxedo cat looks just like my Coty). ❤ 😻
Taiwan is a beautiful and friendly island. Influenced by Japan end of 1800 into early 1900 for 50 years. So it has the charm and cuteness of the Japanese. Yet, it is full of rich Taiwan culture and delicious eats. Very safe and convenient place for women traveling alone.

I loved this tour so far. My mouth was watering at the conveyor belt sushi. I know you enjoyed that part too. Looking forward to part 2. How long were you there? I am so jealous.
The sushi place was so good and so inexpensive. Everything was fresh. It was right under my hotel. The wait was long like 40 minutes but it has an efficient wait system. Part 2 is very interesting and I think even better than Part 1. There’s also going to be Part 3.

I’m already safe at home. I edited Part 2. I think you will like Part 2 even more when I post it in a couple of weeks. Earthquake is common in Taiwan but this was a big one. God bless this beautiful island.
