Hey, thanks a lot for explaining so detailed and well. I have an individual question and would be so happy about your reply. I want to record dance videos like the ones on my channel but with better quality. I have an iPhone 8 and somehow the definition is not as nice as soon as I move my body. Mostly I am in one place and of course move my body a lot. I don't want to look blurry while moving and if I get closer to the camera in between it should be able to focus etc.. Is there any phone you can suggest me for simply recording some nice dance covers? And maybe not THE most expensive phone :D Thank you very much in advance!
hi Naina. the iPhone 8 is a great device for video and getting a different phone probably won't solve your issues. My suggestion would be to use a 3rd party camera app like Filmic Pro or MAVIS. Then you might also need an ND filter. Your phone is settings automatic shutter speeds and when the shutter speed is too fast, movement looks harsher. This is explained in my video here: ruclips.net/video/HXCFAx7BYak/видео.html Filmic Pro also has a live focus feature so that the focus changes to follow whatever subject is in the centre of the frame.
great video! I was looking for thoughts from a real professional. I am very curious witch of the new upcoming phones you are recommending for video recording, like the s20 ultra / p40 pro etc.
Thanks for making this video.what phone does the longest video time?and what size memory card have to put in it? currently I using Huawei honor and only does 33 minutes.many thanks.
hi Christina! Well, it really depends on the resolution & frame rate you choose to shoot the video. Shooting at 4K will use up a lot of memory. At 1080p you will use less memory. Shooting in 4K at 30fps can consume 300-400 MB of storage per minute of video when using the H. 264 codec. At 1080p HD and 30fps, it's 130MB of space per minute.
Can you do a video on the best smartphone for audio recording with the internal mic only? I've looked at LG V30, but I'm curious if there is a better one.
They both look excellent. I think there's pros and cons for both and no conclusive decider towards one or the other. A lot depends on what you want to film and how you want to film. The periscope zoom looks pretty cool and the powerful processor should handle higher quality video better. I haven't looked deeply into the UI and functions of the resurrected Samsung Pro Mode for video yet, so a lot could hinge on that. As iPhone doesn't have it's own native manual control app. Mind you I have used the old video pro mode on my Samsung S8 and I found it a little bit too fiddly compared to Filmic pro
The LG V40 is an amazing phone for video. So is the V30. There is a video here on RUclips comparing the V30 with a $50,000 Red, and the V30 holds its own, but the V40 is a higher class than even the V30. Elanz Official the only thing the ultra has better is battery and ten times zoom that's it. The iPhone to me does video better because of the overall quality of the video that comes out. Samsung still oversharpens video which I don't like and the colors are still a little too saturated. The iPhone can do pro video you just need an app for it and to pay and you're good to go. Would prefer it to be native tho. As for pictures the s20 plus and iPhone go back and forth for me. I don't like three colors on the p40 tbh

How's the Redmi Note 8 pro, I'm on a tight budget and a beginner :-)
most phones these days produce good video. It's best not to get into the mindset that your phone is limiting you. Because a skilled filmmaker will make a great video with any device. The importance is that you practice practice practice
@@SiHorrocks thanku so much
theres no way to connect cinepro with a bluetooth-mic. any tip for recording good sound in an easy way?
I always use an external recorder + mic
How is oneplus nord for video shooting?
pretty good
Wait, WTF! No LG. This video is insane. No LG V60, V50, V40, V30 Even LG G8 & G7 are also good for video recording & they all have great mic for voice recording as well
The underrated device, V40 is the best budget .. I guest
Agree...lgv30 is good. Specially the audio
Inshort, iphone r best
Who's using a smartphone for youtube videos? Which one are you using? What is your experience? I am using my samsung galaxy s7, and it sucks!😪
I use my Samsung S9 and I really like it
I have a pixel 4xl and it's the best video smartphone I've used. Search on RUclips pixel 4 xl Filmic Pro
I am shocked at how good the nokia 808 pureview is. Still to date. It has an actual camera in it. And I am more surprised that people dont mention it when videos are being reviewed like this. I mean that phone came out in 2012 and still best camera.. certainly better than the iPhone in 2012 and dare say in some cases better than the iphone 11pro
03:44 - what´s is this phone?
Sony Xperia 1?
How about taking a breath or pausing now and again so we can digest what you are telling us?
What about huawei pro 20 mate?
I got Moto g stylus for 4k videos quality
I just want the answer, which one better video recording: huawei p30 pro or samsung s10?
Samsung
For video recording, would you please rank Poco F1, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Moto One Vision? Thanks! #RoamerRealm
My Poco F1 have less problems with Filmic Pro and McPro24fps. McPro24fps is a Filmickiller, if You don't known yet!
3:25 Am I the only one who doesn’t see any difference in terms of the image quality? Maybe a little more saturated and warmed, and that’s it?
For me the Black Magic look sharper, there are more details in the trees
S7 is much better than s8. I miss my s7.
You forgot LG
Nice review ,enjoy it but i guess u forgot LG v50/G8.
Btw i make video about Thailand ,and S9, it will make me so happy if u use my videos in yours, thanks
how is the manual control on the LG V50?
@@SiHorrocks Its really awesome, u have control on video and audio and manual control too
@@Watchmaty excellent
@Mapuia Chongthu Check my new videos in my channel, i took it with my phone
Recommend any mobile
my samsung s9 in 2021 ??
need video for 2020
*Galaxy S20 Ultra Joins the Battle!*
That phone is terrible for video
That ultra is an embarrassment
Elanz Official one plus and Huawei had large sensors too
Elanz Official the s20 plus it's better at video than the ultra 🤷🏾♂️ nothing tops iPhone recording tho
Samsung actually did used to make cameras with smart phone functionality!
Wow
Hey another great video, worth the like 👊 I uploaded a video a couple days ago about how to start freelance videography with an iPhone! I’d love any comments or feedback you had on it! 😊 thanks in advance ❤️
thanks Josh! Your channel is looking good there. Keep up the great work!
Mobile Motion Film Festival thanks dude
Huawei p30 pro vs Samsung s10 : which one is better video quality ?
Anyone still watch this video?
where's the LG V50?
what experience do you have with the LG V50? I think the manual controls aren't as extensive?
@@SiHorrocks others u need filmic pro for full manual control unlike lg which have inbuilt manual control
title should be "smart phone cameras vs professional camreas", not "best smartphones".. was expecting a list and in-camera footage. click bait
No love for NOKIA???
