A CIDSE Webinar Series: Putting the Paris Ambition Cycle into Practice.
This was the second webinar of a series of capacity-building webinars on topics related to COP29, climate finance, and the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
The series aims at equipping civil society in advancing ambitious climate action through the Paris Ambition Cycle, by influencing the upcoming submission process and implementation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), that is, the national climate commitments. This 5-webinar series is part of the CIDSE NDC Transparency Initiative (CIDSE, ‪@Misereor‬, Fastenaktion, BUND) in collaboration with CANSA, ‪@IAmCaritas‬ and ‪@Alliance2015‬.
Across the 5 webinars, we will explore how we can strengthen national engagement and advocacy to drive greater transparency, ambition and accountability in the implementation of the NDCs.
