Great series, but if you would like some input…the behind the scenes, rigging, bs’ing over dinner is what gets viewers invested and it makes us feel like we’re there with you, also talking thru your decision making and showing the ups and downs of those decisions. But thank you for these tournament videos I also enjoy the podcast, keep up the good work!!

Since we have no Bass in Northern Canada, i fish Northern Pike with Frogs. It is the only way i will fish for Northerns. Usually from "Ice Off," to when the lake warms up. Fishing in water from one to maybe four feet deep, amongs last year's reed growth, can be crazy, so that is what draws me. I am a fly fisher and that surface action on a dry fly, is just dang awesome!
By the way! You have a great hook set!"

    Another great video.
    Good camera angles and dialog.
Same here with idea of speaking in beginning of your pre-planned strategy coupled with when, why, or what may cause a change in it.
Once again, very good and ready for the next one.

Great video Bailey. You did things that are very impressive, like your ability to get baits back into structure is much better than mine. I can skip some baits, but even when doing it, I have 1 good accurate skip to like 6 bad, off target skips. It was a fun tourney and the fish were chompin. I'm the guy that got 9th place overall but then a couple days after got disqualified. I was posting pics of it all..... and I never even noticed until AJ texted me and said "please tell me you were wearing your pfd" I didn't believe it at first I thought I musta posted the wrong pic, but then on further examination I watched a vid from 7 mins into day 2 I had of myself holding a 21 incher up and no pfd....I musta never put it on from the start, thus ruining my best tourney finish ever and the only check I ever woulda got in both local and national circuits. it was pretty devastating; but it's a learning experience, a painful one.......This was only my 2nd full year of fishing tourneys and maybe my 3rd year kayak fishing at all.
But chick was fun, I didn't really practice, I practiced 1 area cuz I was late waking up friday after the drive thursday night. I stumbled across a public area I knew would be highly pressured, but it was all I had. I caught 4 fish over 20 inches in 2 days all on a small bullet pop in the "Greg Blanchard" color...the ghost color with blue on the sides. Everything else came on a 6th sense fluke in the Green Pumpkin color I was skipping up into weeds and trees and the such. Then late in day 2 I didn't have a limit yet and I caught 2 on a wacky, but I culled one of those 2 last half hour on another Fluke fish. I fished incredibly clean, and it was one of those times fishing where everything just seemed to go right. The biggest fish I got, a 22.5 6.5lber I caught on the bullet.....It was getting later when the topwater bite usually died for me and I had popped/walked it along a grass line. I was reeling it back in and it went underwater about 6 inches as I reeled it in and as I got it maybe 6-8ft from me and was reeling it up, this massive mouth comes out of nowhere and just destroyed it and started ripping drag.--similar to how the huge one sharked your frog to the boat. I was throwing it on my cranking baitcaster with 12lb fluoro (I know not even a topwater setup but it was what I had) and the thing is just ripping drag and pulling my boat trying hard to get into the vegetation (which was some kinda weird vine stuff no lilly pad or milfoil or hydrilla or anything). I was worried he wasn't hooked very well so I had to keep my drag fairly loose and I sat down in the hobie and popped it in reverse and started pedalling backwards while trying to steer the fish away from vegetation, and I got it in after a crazy fight. It was one of the most fun times I ever had. People I had never met and looked up to were texting me and cheering me on, a bunch of guys from my home circuit in KY were cheering me on.....it was a lot of fun.

Bro, you had a great tournament! Going off of pure instincts is impressive. So great job! And don't let that DQ set you back. Look at it as a learning lesson and an opportunity to improve your process on tournament morning. Keep grinding, man. Hope to see you at more events!
