She is so well articulated and intelligent. You can see she's really listening to the questions and being honest in her answers. Love her sense of humor as well.
Julie Delpy is still beautiful today but as a teenager or at her young age, she was amazingly gorgeous. She was a rare beauty. Effect of the years on someone's life as everybody like you and me... I admire her intellectuality, she is very smart. I have the feeling Julie Delpy grown old earlier as usual, in contrast to Ethan Hawke.
Soo... they wrote the things that annoy her IRL into the character. She mentions exact same things, about French being called "So cute" and wars happening nearby that nobody cares about. In the film, she was talking about wars in Jugoslavia (it wasn't named, but considering it was filmed in the 90s it's heavily implied). They also wrote the living in Los Angeles into the film, and living in New York was mentioned in Before Sunset
She has a special voice, I noticed that immediately and now I know why. It's basically english, but it has some french softness in it, and also some british accent as well, so you really get an interesting soft-spoken english, that is sometimes also weird with the way she intonates certain words. As an audio type, I think her voice had a great contribution to why I love her performance in Sunrise. I think as she grew older her voice differentiated more clearly between english and french. In Sunset you can still hear the french accent in her english, but it's less pronounced.
I fell in love with both of them when watching before sunrise for the first time a few days ago. Same with Ryan and rachel in the notebook haha. Im on a romcom spree because i just finished crazy stupid love and la la land too haha
Ok, of course I love her. But I know her, really, I lived in Germany from 89-91, and while the dates are not exact, I can say that the first movie is so, so, so, very accurate. The trains were just like that, the countryside, superb and exactly like that. As they walked through the streets (I lived in Germany, Bavaria, but has been to Austria and France many times) it so perfectly captured the essence of what it was like to live there. But Miss Delpy was spot on, perfectly rendered, a perfect version of the girls I dated. Her accent, her mannerisms, her frankness, the way she cursed with such abandon and innocence that only the Europeans had, she was perfect. The way she talked about sex, it is shocking to me, and it was back than as well! I remember when my girlfriend just disrobed at the beach, in the parking lot, as she put on her bathing suit! To an american it was shocking! But to her, it was just like "What? Its no big deal!" and Julie brought that to life so perfectly. I just watched the first 2 movies, and look forward to watching the (painful) third movie again. Just wanted to say how perfect and honest, how stunningly true to life Miss Delpy was, how even now I can watch her on the screen and I'm instantly transported back to the bahnhof, or to Paris, to conversations and dates with some wonderful girls. I miss them all, and watching you just brings it all back. But more, so much more.
She is amazing and I loved her in this movie (much more than the guy)! and I have her music 🎶 album 💿… also she sounds just like character and I agree w her pop culture comment

I was just contemplating the same thing. I've been admiring this ring in the film as well as this interview. I wonder if Julie Delpy still owns this ring and if there is a special meaning in the ring for her life. It is quite beautiful, truly. 🖤

She was an angel.
Ethan Hawke grown old earlier in my opinion.
She’s much more mature! He was very insecure for long time

Adoro, la trilogía entera. Pero Sunrise, es la más real de todas. Nos hace sentir, viviendo la historia.

As she grew old her lips shrinked somehow.
Everything shinks when one grows older.
