My arms are not that long, i take selfies at a few distances, also depending on extra peeps or not, and honestly i even use it for some uo close makeup-ish-checkups, if i have no mirror, but it also has some advantages of being able to see diff angles as opposed to mirrors. Perhaps leaning towards samsung s23 for this reason (and even smaller also a plus bc the smaller the better). But i seem to like the pixel photocolor/saturation better, the round edges of the phone., And heard of samsung having problems not being able to shoot proper raw with the native camera app after software updates, it seems to stuff only a jpeg in a .dng file format.
I think I would pick Samsung. It has 3x optical zoom, adaptive refresh rate which will save battery. Better performance thanks to Snapdragon 8 gen 2 chipset and Supports Dolby Atmos sound technology.
