@@giullianomartini2600 While i'd put 4 just ahead of SA story-wise, the gameplay elements put SA ahead in my opinion. The driving and weapon skills were a nice feature that I wish had stayed for 4, and SA was the first time you could swim in a GTA.

Yesterday this game turned 20 years old, and I can't believe that which is already an icon for all of us who play it. I still remember the first time I saw the game when I was younger but at the time it came out I couldn't play it because a relative of mine didn't like it because he classified it as Violent. It took years until I was able to play it in 2014, and I was surprised by the story it had, and now I really appreciate this GTA. Happy 20th Anniversary GTA San Andreas
There's 3 reasons San Andreas sticks in our memories so fondly. The soundtrack, the voice acting, and the writing. Can you imagine the game without any of the three?

I think the reason San Andreas has an introduction is to demonstrate how San Andreas really connects to GTA 3 and Vice City. Ken was Tommy’s best friend, and Salvatore was Claude’s secondary antagonist, and additionally, it explains the balance of power between the families after Sonny’s death. It was also made to describe certain events in the story and give a better insight of Ryder’s betrayal. San Andreas is a good bridge between the two other games, even if it’s characters don’t appear that often. Still though it adds insight to their character development, especially Catalina and Salvatore, and what happens between Tommy and Ken, as well as setting up the story of GTA Liberty City Stories with the Mafia wars and Salvatore’s rather fragile position. We all love it because at the time it was extraordinary and special, and it was at the top of the gaming industry. Our nostalgic memories makes us love the game as we only started playing it yesterday.
From what I’ve heard Tommy was originally supposed to appear in the introduction before cutting ties with Ken but as Rockstar had a falling out with Ray Liotta they were unable to have Tommy. Really unfortunate

Tommy’s very cold hearted, and Lance’s betrayal may have also further contributed to his eventual fractured relationship with Ken. However Tommy owed Ken the truth at least for his loyalty and for standing by him since the beginning, even if his cocaine addiction didn’t allow him to think about betraying Tommy. I believe that he was afraid and probably didn’t think this through. Tommy does say that Ken is a backstabber, possibly eluding to his supposed decision of not supporting the Forellis as Sonny arrived.
@@justsomeguy747 Tommy is cold hearted but he does have limits and he will not betray you unless you betray him first especially after he got betrayed by both Sonny and Lance. Tommy was likely worried that it was only a matter of time before Ken’s coke addiction brought down the whole organisation. Like Ken might make a mistake while washing the dirty money and the IRS sees this or if Ken got arrested because he’s a coward he may sell out Tommy and his gang so Tommy decided ‘I’d better cut ties with Ken before that happens’

In terms of Tommy’s character him ignoring Ken was probably deliberate. Tommy probably worried that if he spoke to Ken he might be tempted into taking him back which he knew would be too risky. Also the rest of Tommy’s gang might not have approved of him taking Ken back and they might turn against him.
San Andreas is just insane, it's crazy how they made the story with every small detail. Today I still learn new stuff about it, this video is enough to make someone understand how big the san andreas iceberg is

@@kratos3200 I think V had the best missions in the franchise, not the best story but the best missions, because you're never going to find any other game in the franchise that will hang you down from a helicopter with a rope, take someone hostage and kill people in a tower from it's window that you just broke in from, also I think the biggest factor why it has the greatest most fun missions is because you're playing with 3 characters which means you can just get into another action in a second just changing your character. San Andreas had a very good story but it's missions will never be as fun as V's because of how much technology they had while they were developing V
The saddest thing about the introduction is that this was the final voice appearance that Chris Penn would make (he was best known for his performance as Nice Guy Eddie). RIP
I was first introduced to san andreas at around 10 or 11 by a old friend he let me have to game on the ps2 now I have a ps4 and still playing it grove st for life it wasn't that hard until I got to las venturas especially that flying mission was stuck on that for 2 months and finally got it done a few days later

Just discovered this movie, and I'll just say it's a classic that's absolutely ageless. What I'm saying is that I could see people of my generation, and newer, enjoying this. It's the most entertaining prologue to a game I've ever played.

@@kratos3200 I think V had the best missions in the franchise, not the best story but the best missions, because you're never going to find any other game in the franchise that will hang you down from a helicopter with a rope, take someone hostage and kill people in a tower from it's window that you just broke in from, also I think the biggest factor why it has the greatest most fun missions is because you're playing with 3 characters which means you can just get into another action in a second just changing your character. San Andreas had a very good story but it's missions will never be as fun as V's because of how much technology they had while they were developing V

-Smoke is convincing Ryder to join the ballas and he will have his back. He mentioned about a wise man doing what they're told to do at gun point. (Possibly C.R.A.S.H. threatening Smoke)
-Toreno telling T-bone that they need to be more productive and with the help of Panama they can have more product for sale to make it big. (The start of the Loco Syndicate)

This intro is a part of the game and explains a lot of the story, so why is it even copyrighted? And it's not even monitized! So you are not even making any money from this video. Just discovered this movie, and I'll just say it's a classic that's absolutely ageless. What I'm saying is that I could see people of my generation, and newer, enjoying this. It's the most entertaining prologue to a game I've ever played.

@@Tacommander Yea! And that's just the prologue, too. GTA: SA is one of the best games of all time, and this just shows how much effort went into every little story element.

@@Tacommander I never finished SA. It's on my to-do list when they put the original back on the Xbox Marketplace, if they ever do. Either that, or just wait until I get a new computer (I'm pretty sure my old laptop's boot files corrupted, and the screen blacks out after a few seconds of powering it on, so I rendered the thing useless). But I definitely have to finish San Andreas one day.

Tommy had to pick up the phone but the voice-actor of Vercetti wanted more money for this scene, so Rockstar denied and changed that part without making Tommy talk
