From experience, rich people who have earned their income on their own through hard work are usually very kind, generous and considerate. More often than not, I find that poor people who want to cheat their way to money tend to be jealous, resentful, arrogant, self-pitying and miserly.
Actually, in season 1, she was like this. Not necessarily bragging about money but acting as if things were too good for her. Her being bubbly now is showing fabulous character development after she finally comes out of her shell!

This is the reason why I love Momo so much. For a rich kid character, she's such a breath of fresh air. She doesn't flaunt like the usual rich kids in anime. More like, she was just sharing to everyone what she usually has and what she usually does and it was really precious that she really don't hesitate to share. She's such a sweetheart.

Ochako's parents rent a small apartment she lives in to stay close to the school because they're always so busy with work. Any money leftover is her food budget, but she tends to go without eating for a few days or only eats the school food.
There's in MHA SMASH. Momo and Ochako spend a day as each other. Momo and Ochako goes to Momo's house and everything was expensive and available on demand. But when Momo went with Ochako to live with her her house was almost empty. They were living on cup noodles. When Momo asked if they have some thing better she refused bcs it will be waste of money. Then on AC and Freeze, Ochaco says they don't need that bcs the house has windows. 😂 And no freeze required bcs she just eats everything right away and doesn't need anything to store. They had no bed and were sleeping on floor much of Momo's discomfort but instead of complaining she acknowledge how lucky she is and hardworking Ochaco is.

While Ochako is very poor (it's her character joke) I think Ojiro isn't so much (that would make him "different" after all).
