Virtual Heritage Series #1 Yalagureshwara Temple Yalaguru

THE HISTORY ENTHUSIASTS has started virtual heritage series. Yalagureshwara temple of Yalaguru is the 1st site of our virtual regional heritage sites. Yalaguru is a small village in Vijayapura district Karnataka. It has a lot of tangible and intangible heritage in it. It is situated on the banks of the Krishna river. Yalgureshwara( Lord Hanuman) is called Yeluru vadeya (owner of 7 villages around Yalguru). Yalguru was a Vaishnva agrahara and was and is one of the important pilgrimage of the Madhwa community.
