Besides monitoring, this works great as a PA speaker for VERY small parties or indoor events. It's not designed to be pushed hard and you risk frying it if you want more volume. Get proper 12" or 15" speakers for that.
I have the earlier model without the MP3. I use it as a personal monitor. I have a synth access guitar and also a multi FX pedal. I can blend both to my liking and just send my mix to the house.
Thanks for commenting fastelder. I think from memory they could be purchased with or without MP3 when I reviewed this one. It sounds like you perfected a good mix. Nice!
Gary Davies Nice job. I was looking at this or the smaller 205d just to take over to peoples place with my keyboard instead of lugging my giant overkill keyboard amp.
Q1. Would a usb bluetooth dongle work with this? For instance to play backing tracks being selected, paused & etc from a smartphone? Q2. If I connect from the Thru output to a more powerful speaker should it be a passive speaker and if so what size speakers could the monitor power?
Nice little unit. I need to set up a bit of portable PA system for friends weddings & engagement parties. What would be better, a self-powered speaker system, or a passive speaker system with separate mixer & amp. (I wanna run two 12" PA speakers & an 18" PA sub.) Mostly DJ work but able to use a mic with it as well of course.
samdasurfinman Thanks. Self powered speaker systems are very popular now for the type of installation your thinking of setting up for. Be careful of the cheap systems, they are disappointing.
Just received this and setting it up. I want to use it as a monitor on stage (I play saxophone in a 6 piece function band) - I would like to plug my microphone into Mic/Line 1 - seems to work OK - I want to send that signal to the mixing desk on stage (which is the output for that ??) I also want to hear a monitor mix from the desk - where does that feed into this unit ? Hope someone can help :) Greg
Greg there is a line output in the back from memory to send a feed to a second powered speaker. Does yours have that? This output is a mixed feed to your desk. It is at line level so turn down the channel gain.
Hey, I have a question about this PA system. Is there any way to inline the microphone sound into a phone or a camera. Would like to try this and could use some advice. Thanks, Mani.
Yes there is Mani, the best option is to use an interface like the Roland GO systems. This amp has a XLR line level output and can be patched through an interface into a phone.
Gary Davies Ahh ok. So what sort of equipment would I be looking to buy in terms of cables and systems. Would I need some specific cables and what system would I need of Roland GO. Is it a mixer or something you plug in?
I have recently just bought this system and it is great. It does everything that I need it to. However, I want to add effects to it such as Echo. Could someone help me out to suggest what I should buy to connect to this speaker to add effects. I’m not sure if I need something like a mixer with effects or an effect pedal. Please if someone could help me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks
Yes Mani, a mixer with onboard effects would be a good option. Trying to route the sound out of the RCA outputs then through an effects unit to return into a second channel would be messy. Even though it may be possible it would not guarantee a good result.
This amplifier has limited inputs as noted in the video. Check out the downloadable user guide, it will answer your question. I would suggest adding a small mixer. That would do the trick.
I have just purchased a B207 I find it great to work with I have hooked it up to a 1000 watt power speaker the sound is awesome however I need some delay when singing so I have ordered a FEX800 I am hoping this will give me the sound I want, do you have any hints on using the FEX800 with the B207
+Morrie Mathews happy to hear you've had a good run with the B207. The FEX800 will be a good effects unit for what you want. Just remember that when you connect the device between the B207 and the 1000Watt speaker there will only be effects blended with the output of the onboard B207 speaker. This is because there is no pure effects return bus on the B207. But I imagine this won't be a problem because your main program power will be from the 1000watt speaker.
Can i use this as a electric guitar output delivery speaker, while that electric guitar connected to a Mooer GE200 amp modeling and multi effect processor?
Sorry Riad, I’m not familiar with that processor but you can use this unit as an instrument amplifier. So it will work like any guitar amp. It would be good for you to test it out with your processor at a music shop.
@@GaryDmedia It’s my pleasure to have your early reply here. I usually play guitar at home. Now i'm using a computer speaker to deliver my guitar output, but i am not satisfy with the output sound quality. Then i have planned to buy a guitar amp but one of my friend told me that guitar amp will not deliver the proper sound from my drum mchine. My processor have built in drum machine in it. He suggest me to buy a PA speaker. That’s why i am planning to buy this unit. Don’t know it will work for me or not. Thanks a ton!
I own one of these and love it. For much better sound than in this demo, turn up the treble and bass and tun the mids down slightly on the eq.
Thanks Robert for adding you comment. You must really enjoy using it.

Awesome review. I like when people actually play music and test the microphone. Sounds great.
Thanks for your feedback
Where can I get a replacement horn driver for my Berhinger Eurolive B208D?
Not sure about that. You would be best to contact Behringer.
Hey Gary it’s Luke de Meur here!! I saw this name and thought haha Gary Davies , then I saw the picture and it IS Gary Davies!!!
Yes it's me, none other. Thanks for dropping in. I appreciate it.

John, Q1. I am not sure about the other uses for the USB sorry. Q2. The second speaker has to be powered.

Play guitar with effect. Gx100. The question I have is. Should I turn off the internal amps on the gx100?
Nice little unit but I need he option of at least Reverb and possibly Echo on my microphone Any way around this ?
No I don’t think this is possible with this unit. Sorry Paul.

@@GaryDmedia many thanks Gary
is it preferable for electric guitar, practicing on distortion
It would work as a practice amp with a distortion pedal.

An XLR to 1/4” or 6.5mm phono plug lead and Roland GO: www.roland.com/au/products/gomixer/
Gary Davies Perfect, I’ll take a look into this. Thanks so much for your help Gary. 👍🏽

Assuming you just want echo (or reverb) on vocal….. get mic mechanic 2
can you plug 2 acoustic guitars and a microphone ?

No it's junk the best is Alto 310 I've had both I know
I need something to go busking with my guitar that can go from clean to overdrive... distortion....could this be it?
Did you find a solution?
What is the stands model number.
Wish they would design something for musicians
Is this is good for practice karaoke at home with much strain
It is quiet loud and clear. Ideal for home karaoke.
