Why is Monsta x so underrated? Their songs are so good, the choreography of every song is brilliant, not to mention the visuals, and their incredibly talented artists
Actually I've been asking myself this question for some time, haha... 😂😂😂 They've actually got extremely funny, high quality variety shows like the ones in this video, plus they've also got invited to so many popular variety shows in Korea, so they should have been a lot more popular outside of their fan base. But I guess idols are considered less respectable than artists of other professions in Korea, that's why the average people don't pay great attention to them. People might give more credits to movie stars, or celebrity athletes, but not idols. It's a shame, I know, but I guess it's the reality we live in. Another thing that I can think of and probably just my own theory is that, they come from a smaller (but not really that small hahaha) entertainment agency in Korea, which probably plays a role in the promotion ability to artists. One of the weaknesses with small agencies is that they usually lack of the money to hire more, or sometimes extremely experienced professionals to help with creative contents that any idol group desperately needs. I know that Starship has already been acquired by Kakao Talk, so it could mean that there would be more digital marketing contents for Monsta X, online marketing opportunities, maybe stronger technology support to their concerts? There are simply many more ways of helping out with branding the group with the fact that Kakao is funding directly to Starship, as well as Monsta X. I just hope that Starship hires more staff to help Monsta X. And of course last but not least, Monbebes are definitely the strongest help and support to our wonderful guys. We just have to keep supporting them.
