I am a nurse and it’s common to see high tensions in the ER and ICU from family members, patients or their friends. We call them code grays, when a person is violent and security responds. A code silver is when someone in the hospital has a deadly weapon.

Fiona doesn’t have resurgence. She’s using vitalum vitalis, she can take or give her life force to others. When she heals someone, it weakens her and vise versa. Misty (Steve Nicks chick) has resurgence, it doesn’t require her to use her life force to bring people back.

Not only that but it seems like Vitalum Vitalis requires a pretty fresh body to work. Whereas resurgence works even on corpses that have begun to rot.
