    I like how they start getting mixed up in languages e.g. "zettai fucked up" or even something that's still a japanese word but she pronounces it halfway between english and japanese pronunciation "internet slangu da yo--".

    I love how Joey keeps pointing out the plain young ppl slang. It feels like he's subtly throwing out the age difference between him and Reina. Though I think it's interesting, what might have been internet nerd slang for Reina's age group is just normal slang for Joey's.

      @@ImKrissie You can study a language to be bilingual! It's harder when you're an adult but it's definitely worth it. :D
      I'm not the person who replied earlier, but I'm Japanese American. I think in English but when I'm upset or nervous sometimes my thoughts switch to Japanese hahahaha

      Where i come from, that's pretty normal, being bilingual i mean. there's hardly anyone around who isn't at least bilingual. i know 6 languages myself (4 languages & 2 dialects of 1 of those, if you wanna be really picky), & well, it sounds like boasting, but i do find myself cool from time to time being able to switch from one language to another. also, it's never too late to learn. i'm still adding others to my collection, & i'm 32.

    Ok, this is awesome content.
    Slight request for future videos: Can we get a tiny outline on any captions/subtitles? Location and even Joey's shirt has a fair amount of white in it so it blends a little to well with the white text.

    I actually guessed menbure correct because it sounded similar to korean slang
    멘탈은 붕괴 (mentaleun bung-gwae) or 멘붕 (menbung) for short
    I think it basically means the same thing but its more like 'mind blown'

    If there’s one thing I remember from the Stein’s Gate visual novel it’s the use of Pizza as a slang term, think it got added to the little term dictionary in the Vita version too once you came across it if you read the forum posts.

    Japanese living in America here. I got all of them except the last one. Just like The Anime Man said they are pretty standard words young people use nowadays. I use some of them on a daily basis and see them everywhere on Japanese forum sites. うp乙!
    BTW my name is also Raina (spelled with an 'a') so I was surprised when I found your channel. A fellow English/Japanese speaking anime lover with the same name!!

    I know in some videos they say that sarcasm isn't a thing in japan, but maybe thats why the internet slang is SO DIFFERENT, because they understand sarcasm in slang online but not in proper language
