Old cd craft clay
Materials Needed:
Old CD
Air-dry clay or polymer clay
Acrylic paints and brushes

Varnish (optional, for sealin
Instructions:
Prepare the CD:
Clean the CD to remove any dust or fingerprints.
If desired, lightly sand the surface to help the clay adhere better.
Base Layer:
Roll out a piece of air-dry clay or polymer clay to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cover the CD with this layer of clay, pressing it down gently to ensure it sticks. Trim any excess clay around the edges.
Create Your Design:
Sculpt your design directly onto the clay-covered CD. You can create patterns, shapes, or even small figures. Use sculpting tools or a craft knife to add details.
If using polymer clay, make sure your design is not too thick, so it bakes evenly later.
Paint and Decorate:
Once the clay is dry or baked and cooled, use acrylic paints to bring your design to life. Paint the entire surface, adding details and colors as you wish.
Allow the paint to dry completely.
Seal and Finish:
Optionally, apply a coat of varnish to seal the paint and give your craft a glossy finish.
Display:
Your 3D clay craft is now complete! You can display it as a decorative piece, use it as a unique coaster, or even add a hook or magnet to the back for hanging.
Tips:
Experiment with different clay textures and tools to achieve various effects.
If creating a complex design, consider making smaller pieces separately and attaching them to the base layer later.
Use reference images or sketches to plan your design before starting.
