I love when people show the mistakes they make and show how they learned from it. It’s so helpful! Thanks for the video! I’ll definitely be referencing this!
I've said it before but i want to say it again. i appreciate very much how you get directly to the point. so many RUclips channels waste so much of our time with deceptive titles and time killing garbage.
One of their funniest videos (in my opinion) was a mistake video. Laura was planting up a window box (I think it was the tool shed) and one of the hooks gave way and the entire basket came crashing down. Hi-lar-i-ous.
@@sandyg8794 Yep. Sure. Here's a link to the video from the beginning, but the funny happens at [here: ruclips.net/video/AqkiT3xRQ1U/видео.html ] (give it about 15 seconds). Laura handles it like a pro. ruclips.net/video/AqkiT3xRQ1U/видео.html Edited to fix a link.
We made a brick patio in my herb garden with these bricks about 5 years ago and we still love it. In rainy Seattle I do fight with moss on the bricks, but that adds a little charm.
Really enjoyed this video and especially how the path started to go wrong and had to be redone. Helps to see that everyone can have a problem (and it’s not just me). The cost analysis was very helpful too. You have such great ideas!!
Oh Laura I love your impulsiveness and energy, that's what makes coffee with you in the morning so fun as it gives me ideas to start my day with!!! Love the pathway it looks awesome and I can't wait to see the planting as well!
Pat Pezzi your very funny. I actually do some work in the garden as I get inspired by Laura. I’m not trying to come off as rude but you have slightly offended me
Love how this looks. Colors of the brick are perfect. I like the muted tones of them. Great teamwork job! Y’all can do anything and everything. Nice to be handy.
I love that you are matching all the brick pavers throughout. It will look fabulous when all are done. I’m as happy for you as you are doing this project. ♥️
I’m so happy you tackled this project, I have been apprehensive about laying a brick mow-strip around my foundation beds that I started (result of binge watching Garden Answer) and now I have the fuel to tackle it!!! Thanks y’all!!
The brick pathway looks great, love the pattern! Love watching you two work together!!!! Also the plants in the area are looking beautiful!! Good job done, looking good!!🙌🌸🌺🌼🌿👀🚜🌞
Wow! She knows what she is doing. This is a really good demonstration I was amazed of how skilled she is. This is really good, keep it up and best wishes!
Interesting video. I had no idea it took so much work to lay out a small brick pathway. Well done! This was a great learning experience for me. Thank you.
Hi Laura and Aaron! WOW, what a difference that made. It looks fantastic! I love the color of the bricks you used. You both are so amazing! I'm anxious to see you plant the areas on both sides. Thank you for sharing!
It's so beautiful, love how things are coming together. The pathway just makes it all tie in together so beautifully. Thank you again Laura and Aaron it looks amazing.
I think one of the things I like best about your videos is that you don't try to be perfect. You let us know your mistakes and how you fix them which helps so much when we are trying to replicate a project. Thanks for being real!
Funny, just last week I re-watched you laying that patio. Y'all, the pathway looks great and isn't that how it always is...buy something and THEN it goes on sale. Smart of Aaron to stock up for later projects. 😊💚
Thanks for including the cost. I wouldn't have guessed it was that inexpensive. It looks beautiful. I need to do this in front of my business and have been stalling because I thought it would be complicated. So simple!
Ahh, so lovely. It's obvious you love what you do. When I talk about my job, I have no such enthusiasm in my voice. But I would if I was doing garden-related stuff all the time.
Thank you for including how long this project took and how much the materials cost! I would like to see that more consistently in future videos. For those who have very little experience, it's really helpful when starting projects to have an idea of those things. That way you don't accidentally bite off way more than you can chew.
You are consistently interesting and inspiring, and I love your inclusion of the true story (including the hitches, mistakes) etc. with excellent final result. Really good video again.
Really nice job! Now I need to figure out where I can add a pathway. I really like the wood pallet one you have with the nice curve. I like this one too, as it starts tying all your brick together and makes everything consistent. Well done!
Thanks to you and your videos I make 2 beds...one with red wood mulch and other with wite stone....and it look so good and low maintenance is the best!!👏👏👏👏👏 Thank you Laura for everything I learn❤🐈/We have black cat....Nora...she is always with me in backyard/
I love your videos. Thank you very much for taking the time to show us how to make our gardens beautiful. You are very talented and you inspire me to take up new projects.
I have a path in my garden that gets muddy and I wanted to brick it for years. The stepping stones looked nice but after a while the stones chip and need to be replaced. The bricks would be permanent with no weeding EVER. After seeing the process of laying a brick path, I just might want to DIY. I could practice laying the bricks on a curve before the final install. Thank you for your video. The step-by-step is helpful.
It looks great! You make everything look so easy, I ordered two wicker rocking chairs which required light assembly and that project took several hours😜
Looks good! Screed with two 4-foot lengths of 3/4 plumbing pipe which has an outside diameter of 1 inch. You can lay it right in the sand and just fill in the spaces with a trowel after you remove the pipe.
Love! Love!!!! How you get things done!!!!!!! I’m the same way, I get bored or sick and tired of seen something’ that needs to get done. It’s Now!! It can’t wait.. LOL Always waiting to see your videos up load early morning . 👌🏽 💕from NYC
Hey Laura, Love your videos! the bubbles coming from the hose can be due to heat. Think of a sauna kind of effect and if it's sitting in direct sun. It's basically spraying hot water and needs a few minutes for the water to cool down. Especially if the hose wasn't bled out before and had water in it. For your pathway it probably didn't matter but your plants might like cooler water :) Keep up the good work-- I have learned how to garden from you. My mother loves your family and your videos.
Amber Sepulvado Aren’t you afraid the walk way will be damaged when it floods?... I want to build a fire pit/patio, but in the Spring my backyard floods, too and it makes me nervous
Were trenching the area for a spill way, so the walkway shouldn't be damaged from flooding. It's on the side of my house which is a narrow area anyway, (we have neighbors about 15 feet away) so it's best to make a walkway anyway.
Due To Flooding, Consult With A Professional Mason Prior To Any DIY Installation. Bricks In This Type Of Area, May Need To Be Bound Together With Mortar.
Thank you for the advice! I'll do that. we will be hiring someone to do the leveling & trenching for us for sure, probably have them lay the walkway for us as well.
You are convincing me to be bold and try this! I really need pathways to define the garden area. My entire front and back are cottage gardens with just a few flat stones for a pathway and so it looks like too much garden. I'm a bit disabled but love doing DIY so I was going to try to use landscape fabric and pebbles but a permanent path, though it takes longer to do, would be so much more effective.
I love when people show the mistakes they make and show how they learned from it. It’s so helpful! Thanks for the video! I’ll definitely be referencing this!
I appreciate that they didn't use string and had to dig it out wider after starting.
I've said it before but i want to say it again. i appreciate very much how you get directly to the point. so many RUclips channels waste so much of our time with deceptive titles and time killing garbage.

That is my favorite brick. Looks great. We are transforming our back yard since I discovered you. Thank you for all the great ideas.
Wow- great result. You make this look quite approachable for anyone. Thanks!!

The brick pathway looks great, love the pattern! Love watching you two work together!!!! Also the plants in the area are looking beautiful!! Good job done, looking good!!🙌🌸🌺🌼🌿👀🚜🌞

It’s so beautiful. You can actually take your receipt back during the sale and get a price adjustment. We do that all the time. Well done!
You always make these projects look straightforward, must come with knowing what you are doing, excellent job.
Interesting video. I had no idea it took so much work to lay out a small brick pathway. Well done! This was a great learning experience for me. Thank you.

Same!
The brick walk looks great!
Excellent!!! You guys did a wonderful job. I love the look.
Perfect! Thanks for the video. It was fun to watch.
That is one great job! We just had our backyard partially paved and we had to hire people to do it. But you did it yourself! Hand salute! ⭐️

It looks great. It gives a very welcoming walk. Tfs. 👏🏼
This was fantastic. I've always wanted to know how to do this, especially the materials. This definitely shows how "easy" it can be done! Thank you!
Labor of love! It looks amazing Laura and Aaron! My front yard is a blank slate coz of the drought here in CA. You gave me an inspiration! Thank you!
It looks really pretty hard work always pays off in the end

Love it!! The pallet pathway is still my FAVORITE project youve done! 😁🥰
I love the voice over. Great video!
Hmm...giving me inspiration. I have a short pathway that’s narrow that I would like to see widened. Great job on your diy project!
Looks great! You make everything look easy. Great job again..

I love a brick walkway! It makes everything look so neat.😊❤️
This is the best video for beginners! Thk you!
