The goal of fire suppression is to protect people, not put out the fire. If I was stuck in a tunnel with an ev fire, I would be and feel much safer with that foam fire system activated.
I got caught off guard when one of those moveable barriers started cutting off the lane as i was stuck in traffic merging onto the sydney harbour bridge... wigged me out so hard lol
Solar roads are just so useless. much better to place coverings over roads to reduce hot roads and you can place solar panels on top. since we tend to remove trees, natural shade is hard to find in areas.
I love watching these and laughing at it because so many of these things don’t walk in places with snow, and the ones that are made it to make it so there is no snow way too expensive and costly and hard to repair in place of snow
Helmet Nanny: Far more people are going to be hospitalized or die because of the road rage it causes than saved. But to virtue signalers, the damage they inflict is irrelevant compared to inflating their egos. Tunnel Lighting: LEDs aren't just the future, they're the now. Just remember, they don't put out enough heat to melt ice or snow, so if that's an issue, either put in a heating element or stick with old school incandescents. I've seen traffic lights snowed over. Tunnel foamer: I've seen Daylight, and my city's full of tunnels. I support putting this in all of them. Snowless: A lot pricier than salt. Fine for small scale applications, but that's it. Robo cones: The early warning is more important than the wheels. Automatic barrier: Much more practical than the wheeled cones. Solar roads: Solar panels are already expensive, making them tough enough to be driven over is hideously more so. Plus they then get covered in soot and dirt. There are plenty of places you can stick them. Hell, put them over sidewalks to provide shade and shelter for pedestrians. e-Pavement: Eh, might have some use if it's reliable, but I'd want to see proof of that and it's price tag. Roads that honk: Build better roads AND install these. Drop and pick: You can only tow one traditional electric road sign at a time, so this is a major improvement. Tiler: Interesting. All those restaurants with delivery e-bikes might want this. BlinkerChevron: That could help, especially on some dark back roads I know. I used to live near one that everyone I knew crashed on sooner or later. Precast: Anything that cuts down on the time highways are closed is good. Asphalt heater: See statement above. SmartBpass: Nice idea in theory, I'll wait to see how many false positives it has. SAAQ: I can see that causing way more problems than it solves. Just put in a traffic light and walk/don't walk sign. Traffic flow plates: Is cars going the wrong way that big of a problem? I can certainly see this causing trouble if you have to back out for any reason. Lane separator: Critical Mass has turned me against anything that improves cyclist safety. Bollards: See above statement.
Even incandescents can be covered by enough snow. The robo cones are much more expensive and complicated than necessary, individual cones don't need to move independently, they should simply be deployed by a robotic system separate from the cones. Solar roadways is stupid and an outright scam, their ads have solar panels every but on roof tops where they belong.
The solar powered roadway panels are still not any good and hardly generate enough electricity to power the lights for any length of time and once the panels have been walked or drove on enough they don't generate electricity at all because they get too scratched and dirty They places were they did testing had video cam footage and some died the first day and were replaced then about a week later more failed but they just left them
Solar Roadways? Way to show how little effort you put in to these videos. A 5 minute search would show how epic a failure it was. It's been almost 20 years and your still shlepping it. Outside of the 1k test stretch in France, (that failed miserably), no road has ever been built. All it proves is common sense has left the building.
But a pavement (sidewalk) is not an extension to the path. When you are approaching a zebra crossing, you've got to stop and look left and right and then left again. And when it's clear to do so, then walk out Don't, just walk out I have had arguments with many people over this Over the years . But I'm always the one in the wrong. And they are always the one in the right . when clearly they're " not..🇬🇧 .
Love all these Nirvana Utopian road ideas , but the problem is that If any of them are ever utilised it will only ever be in small areas as a show off feel good publicity program .most of these countries need to firstly invest in better roads and fixing potholes , and we are not talking about poor countries , most First world countries have massive problems with potholes being not fixed many times for months or even years
I think you mean Australia's Transurban group and not Austria's. Transurban is Australian and all the footage you've used also appears to be Australian.
I love this channel and the new inventions. With that said I wouldnt go near that Snowless company plus I hope they go bankrupt 😅😅. I would not give my money to a Israel company!😡
I am curious about how the fire protection system handles electrical or metal fires, class C and D fires respectively. I think that with EVs on the roads that this is becoming more and more important of a requirement. Of course EVs are less likely to catch fire than internal combustion vehicles.
Think less of putting the fire out and more of protecting the tunnel itself from the effects of the fire. That's why they highlight the foam's ability to stick to the tunnel surfaces.
The point of the foam is not to stop the fire, but to slow it's spread down, and reduce the amount of smoke in the tunnel, and only long enough for people to get out, and fire crews to get in.
1. The idea of traffic cones is to be cheap and easy to replace. 🤦♂That's an overengineering. Fixes nothing. 2. Solar Roadways was proven a scam / under-delivering.
with all these safety objects, a few might rethink their shit but many idiots wont care and still end up causing accidents. so stupid is as stupid does. xD
5:24 solar fucking roadways - have a look in the tech channels - ALL of them failed: parking spaces, roads, sidewalks, the ones charging vehicles moving on them - in the tech community it's an ongoing joke meme
maybe it was a good idea to learn how to read and writhe this is poor research ) ih soory better explain that word, it means look up things like names before you writhe them =
Bikes dont pay taxes so i say screw them... bikes do not belong on Automotive roads. . Thus the many accidents. If they pay taxes then Sure share the road with them.
Let’s see those tunnel fire suppression systems work on an electric car fire.
NOTHING works on those. Just hose down the area so it doesn't spread, then get a sandwich and a drink, you're gonna be there a while.
The goal of fire suppression is to protect people, not put out the fire. If I was stuck in a tunnel with an ev fire, I would be and feel much safer with that foam fire system activated.
The channel is a drug, once you get into a video there is no going back
Sure . I watch the channel each week and wait for the other next ...
Yse
I mean like thata true-
I donte care about these stuff all that much but the way he presents it is addicting.
I got caught off guard when one of those moveable barriers started cutting off the lane as i was stuck in traffic merging onto the sydney harbour bridge... wigged me out so hard lol
The tunnel fire tech better improve to deal with electric car fires.
It doesn't have to. The main goal is to reduce the spread of the fire and smoke, so people can get out, and fire crews can get in.
Lots of cool gadgets. I just wish they fix the roads here in the USA.
you guys think you have it bad. Come to Canada and look how bad our roads are 😂

Solar roadway... FFS.
The 'no helmet ' is needed for many of those who ride escooters and ebikes without helmets especially in Brisbane
That would do nicely in the States
I show these to my grandma when she falls asleep, better than coffee
3:40)The cones can be used as expensive toys to drive cats crazy.
14:22)The bollards will spring back up if the car's tire runs over it.
Helmets are optional where I live.
And should be everywhere.
2:35 FOAM PARTY!!!, snowless should have used geo thermal the ground other than permafrost is always a constent temp.
The Snowless roads ive been asking for this for years....Why cant they do this. Would save a TONE in money and LIVES.
Because it would probably cost trillions of dollars.
For the one in québec, it was only for an ad. They remove it after that...
The charger for bikes is a great idea.
work as good as the car chargers u better off petaling
when you hear the music playing before even clickin the video
Good 👍👍👍

7:54 😱 Holly ***, Arduino based traffic control? I thought that for critical systems you don't use children's toys, but robust solutions...
What robust systems do you think they use? Do you realize most atm's still use windows xp? And the military uses floppy disks.
There is a lot of those light that when there is a curve also
Yeah helmets can save life’s, but how about the “food” in the markets? Every time someone buys junk food, you stop the checkout.
Them dragon teeth at the end. They could do with them in gandalf corner in London. UK 🇬🇧
Always wear mask and helmet.......pollution free....Digitization is very important these days

Yea, it is so obviously a scam, when the put solar panels on everything in their ads, except on roofs, where they have been proven to work best.
6:58 always on the phone kiddman
What is your intro track?
13:27 is was just a add from the saaq in 2019 to warn people to respect the pedestrian
The moving cones are from australia not austria
TY TZ
7:15 Talking about Jammu-Srinagar Highway, showing panorama of Trollstigen in Norway...
9:39 it just need a person to move the bike 10cm away from that charger, and your bike wont charge anymore
Flyttbara fildelare fanns redan på 80 talet, sydney harbor bridge.

We should change the law, so cars have to look both ways before they cross.

I got nothing against the first one but i got everything against the unconstitutional laws.
Creating a traffic jam ? I'd be pissed.
I think you mean Australia's Transurban group and not Austria's. Transurban is Australian and all the footage you've used also appears to be Australian.
No music please 🥺
Much appreciated Sir 😊
the jamnu - srinagar highway is not the one you see. thats the Trollstigen in norway😀
MAn im polish aint that country aint never gone be fixed
I love this channel and the new inventions. With that said I wouldnt go near that Snowless company plus I hope they go bankrupt 😅😅. I would not give my money to a Israel company!😡
Ho ideato un progetto analogo (strisce pedonali e trancia gomme) una ventina di anni addietro, purtroppo non ho il brevetto.
In India Bangalore it’s 1000 rs fine without helmet

Think less of putting the fire out and more of protecting the tunnel itself from the effects of the fire. That's why they highlight the foam's ability to stick to the tunnel surfaces.
😂what's in the foam ? US has used toxic chemicals for decades.
The point of the foam is not to stop the fire, but to slow it's spread down, and reduce the amount of smoke in the tunnel, and only long enough for people to get out, and fire crews to get in.
50-50? Part of them are clever and usefull and part pointless.
1. The idea of traffic cones is to be cheap and easy to replace. 🤦♂That's an overengineering. Fixes nothing.
2. Solar Roadways was proven a scam / under-delivering.
Why do the Netherlands need electric bikes? Place is flat as a pancake, so get pedalling!
at 7:10, why in every indian tech, always involved arduino inside it ?
They are cheap, adaptable, and very reliable. What else are people going to use?
👌👌👌👌👌
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
with all these safety objects, a few might rethink their shit but many idiots wont care and still end up causing accidents. so stupid is as stupid does. xD
I COULD SEE THOSE MOBILE CONES BLOWING DOWN THE HIGHWAY IN THE WIND CREATING MORE PROBLEMS THAN THEY SOLVE. THEN THERE'S THE BATTERIES TO REPLACE.
Useless inventions....
5:24 solar fucking roadways - have a look in the tech channels - ALL of them failed: parking spaces, roads, sidewalks, the ones charging vehicles moving on them - in the tech community it's an ongoing joke meme
free Palestine!!
maybe it was a good idea to learn how to read and writhe this is poor research ) ih soory better explain that word, it means look up things like names before you writhe them =
If only the US was like this but instead they wanna send money overseas smh.
Support for no music please 🥺
Solar roadways was a sad attempt and is not suitable as a sidewalk, never mind road use.
Bikes dont pay taxes so i say screw them... bikes do not belong on Automotive roads. . Thus the many accidents. If they pay taxes then Sure share the road with them.
Firemen 😫 tired cleaning cottage cheese off the road.🪖
Should be made to stop people on their 📱 phones😊
Thoses bike charger be smart for businesses 👏
