I took admission there in manipal university this year in wgsha , for MSC dietitics .. is there any option available hostel facilities outside the campus , for pg students nearby, with affordable rate , and good safety

Hey, Shiv. I am a firm believer in what happens, happens for the best. I am not a student of Manipal University either. Your college doesn't define you. Only you can define you and you can do anything that you put your mind to. And you are right, life IS full of surprises and I'm sure you are in for some wonderful surprises ahead. 😊

Hi, Rakesh. Sorry but I don't live in Manipal and these are the only hostels that I have shot when I was there last.
MIC Students live in the MIT Hostels inside the MIT Campus
I think Block 11 or 12. I'm not sure
Mic people get in block 16
I’m a final year MIC Student; we are given hostels along with MIT. Girls are given Block 21, Block 11, Block 12, Block 4 and Ojas 2. Boys are given Block 16, 17 and 19.

They're barely 5 minutes away from each other.
The whole Manipal city is in walkable distance . You can reach one end to another within 20 or more minutes of walk

@@ishannarula7519 just the basic interview questions like intro, why wgsha, why should we select you, where do u see urself in 5 years, strengths and weaknesses, they ask about the food in ur region (panel interview)
In personal interview they check ur communication skills so the questions vary

WGSHA functions independently from other MU institutions. Hostels & Mess facilities are separate. International hostels are generally reserved for NRI/Exchange students.

They have been allotted in 3 different hostels nsb (which is a attached to Indira hostel itself ) , valley flats and sharada hostel

Yup, I study at KMC and I live on the 14th floor of this building, actually. Seeing my hostel during lockdown just brought back some intense feels.

There's a scholarship fund for students who get a below 2000 and below 5000 rank, details of which you can also find on the same website! Let me know if you do end up becoming my junior haha
@@jimmyhopkins8858 nope it's not just for NRI/foreign students, I'm a general category student and I live there. There is a waiting list at the Chief Warden's Office that you have to be on. But this hostel is at the Health Sciences campus, so it's only for HS kids mostly. The engineering kids who live here are from a special program called ICAS.

You will have to stay at the WGSHA Hostel, as a student of WGSHA, it would be difficult to manage the various college activities (there are loads of them) unless you are at the WGSHA hostel and hence it is mandatory. It's also among the best hostel environments you will find anywhere. WGSHA exists in its own bubble and everyone knows everybody there, one big family. Mess facilities are available, hands down the best among all the other colleges in the university (for obvious reasons), so you won't need to cook. Gym & access to MU sports complexes are permitted.

For ABYB the hostels are almost the same but a little bigger since generally each room has 4 to 6 occupants
