Oh man! My brother used to collect The 1980 Force action figures when we were kids. He had 1,979 of them. He was only missing Pocket Pool, the sensei of the covert stick fighting school.
Oh yeah, Pocket Pool is super rare. I think they discontinued that figure due to one too many kids poking their eyes out with his Cue stick. His object balls are also easily lost making a mint, complete Pocket Pool figure highly sought after on the collector market. Good luck finding one!
Pocket pool was the only one I had as a kid, but my buddy who had the figure not-a-drill, the figure with the real working drill, drilled a hole thru him
I thought Chef's Kiss was the disguise expert who replaced Chopside after an 'accident' at THE ASP-SOCIATION meat packing plant which was a cover for Powder's chemical lab...

No joke, my buddies and I used to run GI Joe convention games and we'd spend hours sitting around the table after with beers coming up with the craziest codenames possible. This video is dead on!
This is legit the first song on the album that I can't stop replaying (Got it on Bandcamp), the second one is The Other Shop, because we ALL remember THAT shop...the seedy one.
@@WordburglarOfficial Thinking about it. You might want to flesh this out and pitch it to adult swim or Netflix lol. A TV show parody about 80 s action figures would be hilarious!
Perhaps the only song in the history of songs to successfully, and so satisfyingly, rhyme the word “codename” with the words “code names.” A+++++++ “Send away for Codename, he’s the one who gives everybody code names” 🔥🔥🔥 Bravo For a person who grew up in the 80s/90’s this song and video is some kind of weird Time Machine. Thanx
My favorite was the recalled series 1 release Bobcat. Just a regular bobcat. Not a plastic figure, just a literal bobcat. He had to be removed for legal and safety reasons. They replaced him with Jazzy Joe, who always makes his saxophone blow!
Jazzy Joe's "Battle-Sax" saxophone was always a frustrating accessory for me - he couldn't hold it properly because his elbows didn't swivel! Sadly he never got re-released when they introduced the swivel-arm "whirl-bow hingey-joints" posing technology so the only way he can play his "Battle-Sax" is if you swap out his arms with another figure - I find the arms for TOUGH-CUSTOMER (the team secret shopper) work best, if you can find an extra, he's quite difficult to find these days due to this common swap technique.
This comment is going in hot but late. I was down at the shitty mall trying to find a wild life and party-line action figure in mint condition. Thanks burgie for the new track. Definitely made this week better.
haha awesome, my pleasure! I hope you find those figures, PartyLine's headset mic is particularly hard to come across these days, another easily lost piece.
Hilarious and Amazeballs! Hilarious wears a flower print and is a private eye, while Amazeballs bounces rubber orbs up into the sky... I want to know about each and every one of the one thousand, nine hundred and eighty members. Fantastic video for a killer song from a great album.
Burgie been workin' out. PLUS - I love how some of the customs didn't need much customization. Last Nerve and Lobster Trap...lookin' pretty familiar! This one reminds me of the Community episode, in all the best ways.
@@WordburglarOfficial I legit love all of your stuff, not sure if you take ideas but Bionic Six, or MASK, or do the animal trilogy of Thundercats, Silverhawks, and Tigersharks (Same creators).

No need to ever watch anything else ever. This is the pinnacle of human achievement.

Don't forget to clip and save all 1980 FORCE Points and then send away for your very own exclusive CODENAME figure! Comes with a free nametag!
And that was just the good guys!
Presently I’m aware, and awareness is the remaining portion of combat!

it's a compliment.

I've seen my past, present, and future... and I'm fine with it.
This is fire lol. I really want to watch Jumpy Milkshake and Flagperson while playing with my 1980 Force figures on a Saturday morning now.
This was the best toyline. I still have my Droopy-Nutsack figure, the 98year old General recalled to active duty
And now we know and knowing is half the battle.😎

I had a bunch of the face paint that came with some Joe's. Have a picture of me wearing it somewhere.

Good luck, he's a super exclusive variant edition ;)
So thrilled with how this turned out. It was hard not to smile the entire shoot. These toys are FUN!
Oh! I remember these guys! I had Collek-Tor, who had his own collection of action figures (sold separately)
haha nice, he was hard to find!
I'd love to see the list or blog of all these figures up close to see what customization work went into them! Also the outfit was killer!
Absolutely! The customs were created by the insanely talented OZZIE92- planning to do an interview with him very soon
