Originally released in 2018, this was sung by Guy Sebastian, who co-wrote it with Jamie Hartman. When I first heard Marisha sing this on the radio, although I was distracted with other things, my ears immediately tuned in, and my heart quickly followed.
This talented lady sings those lyrics with such a powerfully emotive voice, that I just wept at first, because I have known that pain well, too. But, hearing this lady sing with such strength, gives me strength too.
I know a lot of us have been fighting/fought our own battles, and there are times when it may have seemed that we are/were beaten, but you know what? We ARE stronger up against the ropes. We are all stronger, and more courageous than we may think.
