He is my favourite character in television history.
Ever love he’s voice
That robbery outside The Arches was one of the most ridiculous & unintentionally hilarious storylines Eastenders has ever done. "Guns on the floor, no messing about! Guns on the floor, no messing about!" 🤣
Yeah I wouldn’t class that as a highlight.
The storyline when he finally leaves eastenders will be epic! Probably be killed off.
😂
I also can't believe the Mitchells allowed Terry's football firm to wreck their pub, how do the mitchells lose their bottle all of a sudden lol
Phil Mitchell is the most iconic character in EE history. Steve McFadden is a true British 🇬🇧 icon and the main man in television. (20th February 1990) birth of a legend 💯🔥💙
I prefer Grant but Phil is definitely a legend in his own right. They should’ve left together in 2006.
There's no doubting Phil is a legendary Eastenders character. I think you can split his history into parts though. 90s Phil was by far the most grounded & interesting the character ever was, the further he went on from there the more the character has gone off the rails with the show playing up & exaggerating his gangster status to a laughable extent along with with the repetition of endless empty death-threats & last second interventions to both stop him from being killed as well as ever actually having him have to kill anyone himself over the years which is so obvious by this point it's been a running joke among Eastenders fans for a while. He's basically a one-dimensional caricature now & has been for years.
@@1977Suspiria I definitely agree with you the 90s Phil was so much better and definitely more iconic. With that being said Steve will be 70 in 5 years and I don’t think he will carry on playing Phil in that period. I feel like he is going to retire soon. Let’s just hope Grant is with him for the final farewell
The storyline when he finally leaves eastenders will be epic! Probably be killed off.
Phil Mitchell is the greatest Eastenders character of all time
Even better than Den Watts as well.
Phil is ageing now, he does look pretty knackered lately at 63, when you compare him to his most villainous hardman era of 1999-2003. Once just a likeable rogue in the early 1990s. The accidental killing of that lad in the car lot in 1994 started the gradual downfall of Phil's character, and the bust up with Grant unleashed the inner demon in Phil, and as of 2024 that still remains.
Should’ve shown Phil beating up Vinnie Franks, arguably Phil’s best ever scene.
Phil helping Kim give birth is priceless! I love it when they show a softer and more 'human' side to Phil
Phil was one of the greatest characters Eastenders ever had in his initial stint. Unfortunately, he slid into self-parody years ago- maybe it would have been better for him to go after Peggy’s death.
Get Johnny week has got to be the greatest story line in eastenders history
King Of EastEnders ❤

Phil was such a good character back in the day it’s a shame they’ve ruined his character now and have been gradually making him worse for years.
Eastenders is like Pet Semitary, they can raise the dead & bring people back but they're not the same spirit👻🙈
Legend
The storyline when he finally leaves eastenders will be epic! Probably be killed off.
Legends never die 😉 he's that villain that keeps coming back, jail cant hold him, A bullet cant stop him & drugs cant slow him down 🤷🏾♀️ He just keeps coming back🧟♂️ lol
He's been dead about nine times
The man's a robot
🐐🐐
What's happening to the sound?
I've been watching Eastenders The Bill & London's Burning 😉on Drama📺 I feel like my Dad back in the day when he watched Gold📺 lol (I'm getting old🤦🏾♀️).
I miss the days when Phil used to bully Ian 😂
19th February 2025 will be Phil Mitchells’ last episode?
Because you say so😅
I hope they bring grant back just for last stint I don't know why they don't just kill grant off as I don't think ross kemp has any plans coming back
Phil has a deathbed confession on 19 Feb 2025, he help Nick Cotton kill Reg Cox in 1985 lol.
The modern producers of Eastenders ruined the true & original Phil Mitchell, sad but not exactly shocking
They ruined the whole show. Its depressing no humour & even though they bring back people it's not the same 😔
@@phoenixrose6608 They bring back dead characters, rewrite history and have characters with zero personality.
Just such a shame he's such a joke now!! He's become a wimp!
NEVER LIKED THE MITCHELLS
