He is now starting to bring his players in that fit his philosophy. Onana will be a great signing cause he adds something we lacked especially since Kamara got injured.
Crook knows nothing about Villa. Onana isn't a replacement for Luiz, totally different type of player. Villa have Ramsey, Buendia & Mings returning from long-term injuries. And in a couple of months Boubacar Kamara will return from injury. Ian Maatsen is a top signing from Chelsea & Jaden Philogene will be unleashed on PL defenders. Morgan Rogers is a player who is just getting stronger and stronger. Villa are about to bring in £100m by selling Diaby & Durán which will be immediately reinvested into the squad We still have arguably the best GK in the world in Emi Martinez & one of the best strikers in the PL in Ollie Watkins. A great CB pairing in Konsa & Pau Torres. A midfield that contains Onana, McGinn, Tielemans, Ramsey, Enzo Barrenechea, Barkley, Kamara & Buendia. Most of the players we have sold or want to sell aren’t good enough for champions league football anyway.
Irony is quite a thing. The FA should be embarrassed. So pre occupied with City, were lobbied to pursue City by apparently ManU, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham....and now rules in place that can hamper almost every ambitious club apart from City 🙄
The rules came in to protect legacy clubs like Utd Liverpool etc. It was to prevent more Citys and Chelseas emerging and to slow down City. Instead City are now self sustainable and big enough that they are One of the protected clubs but that's not their fault. People should be careful what they wish for. These arguments are always anti City and I don't get it tbh. Not enough is given to great management on and off the pitch. It's not simply about money. Revenue wise City have only recently caught up with Utd. Utd can and do match Citys spending, previously outspending them. Where has that gotten them without spending and managing the club properly?
It will be difficult because the league is actually competitive, and consistency is difficult to accomplish over periods longer than a season. Many reasons go into it.

PSR? Villa just spent 50m on a player, and about to get another 70m incoming for another. If they don't finish top 4 it won't be due to financial restraints this season. It'd probably be injuries. That's what derailed villa from the title race last season into scrapping for 4th. This biggest issue was always depth. That is being addressed now

Who will be challenging for top 4 this season? Man United? ... Unlikely. Liverpool? ... Quesionable without Klopp. Chelsea? ... New manager, new start (expect another mid season, like the others under Todd Boehly). Spurs? ... (manager became very predictable by the end of last season). Newcastle? (Possibly, if they avoid as many injuries as last season, and can keep their manager). There's not much serious competition except Arsenal and Man City. If Villa improve only slightly on last season, they could easily be up there again this season.

@GuitarJammerJohn Guaranteed 8 games innit? Plus another 2 at least if we are not in the bottom 12 after those matches.
Yoro cost 42mil plus 10 addons .. stop making it look like a bad signing
£52 million plus £6.7 addons actually.
Alex Crook speaks so much shite, it's unreal 🤣
Alex Crook. The man that talks about football instead of being part of it. Comfortable armchair?
Great window for Villa so far. Monchi and Emery so, so clever. Our squad already looking good for CL, but with Diaby and Duran leaving, we’ll be signing big later on in the window too.
Villa will finish above man utd guaranteed
Relax pal.
Both will finish outside of the top 4
@@MarkoPetkovic-du4xsreal club n were there the natural way not cheating
Stating the obvious
@@MarkoPetkovic-du4xs Erik Ten Hag will finish outside top 8. Unai Emery will finish in the top 3.
these chumps make a living talking utter nonsense!
No clue what’s so ever. Embarrassing do ur research properly
Oh no! Anyway
City Arsenal Newcastle and Villa top 4 would be awesome. We shall see 😊
@@markyNUFC80 The legacy media would hate that 🤣 ... Let's hope it happens! 👍
@@temporaryuseraccount0012 it’s funny how you say Newcastle if they avoid the injuries yet United had more injuries than them (66) and finished 3rd the season before
Crystal Palace could go for top 4 if they replace Olise satisfactory.
😂😂😂😂😂
Behave top 10 at best 😂😂😂😂
Actually finishing top 4 will be a push but they'll compete. There's too many teams vying for top 4 to tople all of them but I can see them beating One or Two to another European spot.
People are resting on them tbh. That helps though. It's how you want it if you're a fan. Injuries would be a big issue though.
Always the same with Alex crook hating on the villa
He's jealous of our manager. He knows Villa will almost certainly finish above Man United again this season and the next and the season after that. Man is in panic mode, watching his beloved Man U slipping out of the Champions League places. You love to see it! 🤣
Please Please Get rid of Crook
Crook by Name Crook by Nature
Dunno how he blagged this gig
Alex Crook never thought thought they would make it in the top 4 either😂😂😂lmao man hush up
Alex crook the only transfer ‘expert’ to know absolutely nothing about transfers.
Big bellyCrooky smoking crack again.. Onana is better than every single player in United's midfield!
Can we have some educated about Aston Villa commenting for a change
Onana isnt a replacement for Luiz hes DM...Villa have kamara injured hence Onana signing. Villa are yet to replace Luiz...c'mon Alex Crook i thought you know your football?
We trust in Emerie. You don't know what your talking about
Onana is not a direct replacement for Luiz completely different type of player if your going to say things like i suggest you do better research not just say things to sound good to get your wage lol.
We all know that.
Watch your clubs podcasts for a real evaluation of your clubs development.
Liverpool willnt sogn anyone, just new contracts for Vvd Taa Salah
Oh here we go again all we going to hear is don’t think villa will be able to finish top 4 all season zzz do your homework luiz was bang average from January, matsen Barkley Onana junior enzo all bought in with more to come, keep doubting us
Big club bias as usual, instead of looking at the facts . Villa are improving every season and are probably the most srable club/team in the league. Utd still unsettled, Liverpool and Arsenal are a few losses away from severe pressure on the managers if they dont perform. Chelsea will do nothing, Man city are wobbling because Pep us off at the end of the season, maybe before. UTV
Crazy to think how millions are being thrown at player's, when most people in UK can't afford to live or eat properly. 🥴
They are a business, what do expect them to do just give everyone in the country their money???
The prem is not a charity, entertainment always make money.
Imagine how much they pay into the system mate alot more than you
