My Thoughts: Ateez freaking ATEE! I was expecting alot from them but they exceeded my expectations. So proud as an Atiny. San, omgfggg boyy calm the fuck DOWN. Hongjoong, WOW the more i watch him, the more i fall in love with him. Lesserafim, yikes!. Lets start from the good. Chaewon, respect to you cuz that girl is carrying the whole group on her back , vocally speaking. I had expectations from yunjin but girl what happened! She was so bad. Like im sry but is this the same opera singer and the same girl who was praised the most for vocals in lesserafim. Sakura surprised me. She was better than before. But girl tell me why tf you make that weverse message. If that is your and your groups best, then that is embarrassing for you. Don't get too proud of this performance cuz trust me, it was not good. Eunchae and kazuha were just, there. No improvement was seen. Also surprisingly, the stage presence was also NOT it. I get that they were shouting and all for hyping the crowd up but there were a few moments where it got too awkward to watch because of the shouting. There are much better groups in hybe for Coachella. So i don't get why they had to send them .
it was knetz who brought up blackpink and compared the two performances while blinks were just posting about how blackpink was trending again and remembering how iconic they were. thats all ! all the kpop fandoms were dragging theme not just blonks, lets make sure we know the difference between blinks and blonks oki? kpop fans luv to throw the word blinks around so much . nonetheless they lacked a lot but they can always improve for next week. other than that it was kinda sad to see ateez performance not being talked enough and praised in korea cuz of this whole fiasco with lsrfm since they were phenomenal
At this point, the people who keep defending lsrfm definitely feel like they have some sought of close relationship with the members because why can't they accept that it was just bad. It's like some sought of delusion they have that fearnots and lsfrm are ride or die's like let's get back to reality - they don't know you so you aren't going to get a loyalty point for defending them so just stop😭

the thing is chaewon carried, sakura outsang yunjin, kazuha and eunchae i can excuse then cuz kazuha trained for 6 months before debut ans she's a rapper and eunchae is also very young and doesn't have alot of experience cuz her voice is still growing but yunjin....she was so bad omg, she's somehow the main vocal yet can't handle the basic notes, her first line in antifragile and she was struggling, like you started with chaewon and sakura AND you have a background in opera, people were justifying her bad vocals in the performance with max for stupid in love saying "oh she's not comfortable in a low register" like first off you're a main vocal, the least you can do is sing good???? and also she's bad even in her high register bro, she was struggling with the most basic notes
I feel like we could deal woth Lesserafem's bad vocals better if they had some better vocalists to even them out. Their songs are kind of unlistenable if you pay attention to the vocals. I wanted so badly to like them😭
txt and enhypen had the chance to attend coachella but no hybe fucked up and sended not so good vocalists im a huge fearnot but lowkey their performance was disappointing
something i never though i'd say: sakura did better than yunjin. yunjin is screaming for weeks instead of singing, it's kinda worrying for her vocal health.
Here the facts though people at coachella thought they did good and many non fearnots actually joined and like their set. I know liking a performance is subjective but at the end of the day people at coachella enjoyed their set and isnt that the point of a coachella lol
