This is the only "Love Story" that actually made me cry a little bit. It was the ending with James Garner crying when trying to get his love to remember him that really touched me. I guess being a guy, it's a lot harder to cry to a fictional story than it is for girls. But, the movie was so realistic and so heart felt, it's nearly impossible to not at least shed a tear or two! Great film!!!
none of us will ever live their story. cellphones have ruined the respect of time and our needs! love this movie soo much, learnt soo many things from it!
@@ijustwanttopassawaythx if this is toxic than you are just not ready to feel love and to suffer and laugh with it. Suffering is part of life, just like happiness.
You forgot to mention that they had to actualy put swan nest months prior to the lake scene so they can shoot the lake scene with swans surrounding them. They had to wait for months for the swans to hatch and find home in that lake, since when they first found the place, all swans flew away the second they stepped in the lake. alot of effort was put but it was all worth it. Amazing video btw, like usal :D
You should write books, too, because your statement is fiction. "To create this avian aggregation, trainer Dan Hydrick supplied a mixture of more than 300 Embden geese, mute swans, and Pekin ducks. Hydrick purchased the geese and swans as adults, so they had already bonded and acted as one personality, which is common with birds. The approximately 280 Pekin ducks, however, came to the trainer as ducklings." www.humanehollywood.org/index.php/movie-archive/item/the-notebook
*They also didn't mention the fact that IN THE FUCKING BOOK NOAH DOES NOT DIE.....NICHOLAS SPARKS WROTE A SEQUAL CALLED THE WEDDING! When I saw the ending, I was **_FUUUUURIOUS!_** because they didn't just kill Noah! THEY KILLED THE SEQUAL TOO! The Wedding would have made a great sequal, and it would have made them a shit ton of money. They were stupid to change the ending, Which was incredibly disappointing*

I watched the notebook last night and it’s still one of my all-time favorite movies if not my favorite. I tear up every time throughout the movie, especially when Allie’s parents tell her Noah was trash, when they meet again, and when Noah asked Allie what she wants at the end. Such a beautiful movie nothing compares ❤️
The Notebook is the best love/romance film ever! I felt so touched so many times during the film, I couldn't hold my tears back. "Do you believe our love can create miracles? Do you think our love can take us away together?" Noah asked Allie at the end. It's a sad, but happy and beautiful ending all at once.
Rachael McAdams was perfect for this role and was beautiful in it. The characters were cast well. I'm glad Ryan came around to realise her film presence after a few months!
Ryan and Rachel had on screen chemistry like on fire. This is my fave movie of all times. And I have watched it probably 2 dozen times. It's the kind of love story us hopeless romantics dream of.....when he reads poetry to her 🖤🕊😍
Holly S Isn't that the job of the director to ask, or even demand that an actor makes changes for a movie, not some kid half his age. If the movie needs to be "made better" the director is quite capable of talking to the actor himself.
I think it got to me because my aunt and uncle were married for 72 years, until my uncle died after a series of strokes. Not exactly a love story like this, but, eventually, my aunt developed Alzheimer's, as well, and she would ask the nurses where her husband was, or she'd ask if she'd ever been married. I'd go to visit her, and for a while she knew who I was, then when I'd help her into her wheelchair, she'd say, "thank you, nurse." I've also worked with Alzheimer's patients, and it kills you. One moment they know who you are, next, you're a stranger, and you're there to harm them!
The Post Break up movie marathon are "The Notebook" followed by "A Walk to Remember" then "The Holiday" and to end the night "Love Actually". Don't forget the tub of ice-cream, chocolate and box of Kleenex ..
I use this movie as a referrence tool in my daily work with Alzheimer's patients and their families. I think it helps them get a better understanding of how the disease works. love this movie.
Lisa van Harmelen I Agree!!! I Think Ryan Gosling Is UGLY As ALL GET 0UT!!!!! James Garner Is The 0ne I've ALWAYS Thought Was Good Lookin And Sexxy!!!!!!
Watched it last night. I had read the book but the movie was so much more my heart ached for Noah and so glad he won. It was a beautiful story and I hope my love story comes true soon. I should write a book of my life, only if it turns out the way I want it too.
Had the movie saved on an old Roku player I found in the closet looking for Christmas wrapping paper.. Watched it 4 times today.. Skipped the end last time though.
My all time favorite movie is and was Titanic, but now I can add The Notebook in my list of favorites..i absolutely loved this movie. It was hardcore romance, heartbreak and lots of tears...loved it..
I'm wondering how the video maker came up with Seabrook being fictitious also. Seabrook was a very wealthy pre-civil war plantation family and is an island between Edisto and Charleston. Nice video but you missed a biggie there.
I know that feeling. I swear it's like I never even think of something then I type it somewhere once or it's on a webpage I searched for, for a totally different phrase than I found. And it turns up in ads and shit. Weird. o.O
The narration of this video is so robotic it was hard to listen to. It reminded me of listening to kids being asked to read parts for Romeo and Juliet in English class.
Caryn Dominessy Hmmmm... (Kids reading Romeo & Juliet in English class)?? I missed out on that (when I was in English class, but I agree about the robotic voice. SUCKS!!
OK so maybe they didn’t get along the actors, but the chemistry between Ryan and Rachel was extraordinary. I wish I had that it is only a once-in-a-lifetime thing, some People get lucky and they have it twice !
The robot voice is annoying. Such a good movie, great casting. Robert isn't over the top goregous in my opinion, but a very well casted actor for this movie.❤️
I like the part, when she realized how many letters he wrote....and when he says WE ARE BACK TO THIS, we are back here.....if only that could be everyone's life.....really like this movie, and think the characters made the movie, and the actors....
I worked in a hospital and one day we heard about a couple that had been married for 60 years. She had asthma and Alzheimer’s. He was a Doctor with a heart condition. She had an asthma attack and stopped breathing. He tried to give her CPR and had a heart attack. When the ambulance got there they found them the way they wanted to leave this life. She died first and he died on top of her trying to give her CPR. When I saw the “Notebook”, I thought Mr Sparks had read about it and adapted it. But if you read the book-don’t bother.

My grandmother had Alzheimer's so bad that she could not speak. My grandfather couldn't attend any of my events at school or activities and I remember that was really sad for me. I understand now. He never left her side, ever. He kept her at home with him. This movie reminds me so much of their relationship. They died when I was around 8, but that powerful love has never left me.
I loved this movie so much I cry every time I watch it. They had a love that was so amazing I never seen love like this in my life. I know it's a movie but for a man who can love a woman with all of his heart it's pretty amazing. Ryan is beautiful
I'm not hating on Ryan at all. He should deserve to be the Sexiest Man Alive one year. But to go out there and protest about the award going out to Bradley Cooper instead of Gosling is really rude, hurtful, and mean. Bradley Cooper is really handsome as well. Both of them deserved the award, but People Magazine chose Bradley Cooper. Get over yourselves.

The List I cried watching it with my friend we were going to die crying that's how much we cried
The kiss scene in the rain.
When she re-visits him and finds that he re-constructed the house.
When she runs to him after he gets off work
