I love this. I just thrifted a vintage one for $20- I'm also in Canada. This was a great deal considering how much they are reselling for. I really want to paint it pink. I also have one that is green that my mother gave me. She made it in the 70s. I won't touch that one. Did you find a way to add more gloss? I saw that krylon makes a gloss glaze in a spray can.

Spray some clear gloss paint and will give that shimmer like porcelain
