Do you remember what it was like when you bought your new Cricut cutting machine and you had to learn how to use CRICUT DESIGN SPACE? Now with the updates, you are having to learn more technical terms and navigate through the new Cricut Design Space. I remember what that felt like and I want to help you by taking you through the new updates, step-by-step. In this quick tutorial, we will just learn how to get to the Beta mode of Cricut Design Space, and then we will take a look at how the new mode compares to the "old" version of Cricut Design Space.
Don't worry, we will get through this together.
All of the information on my channel is made for Cricut Beginners! My goal is to motivate and inspire all Cricut Beginners to take their machine out of the box and have the confidence to use it.

Thank you for slowly introducing us to the Cricut updates. I really appreciate that you showing us in manageable small chunks. I’ve looked at other video tutorials and it’s way too much and extremely confusing. It’s best to assume your audience doesn’t have a degree in graphic design. There’s a reason a lot of crafters like Design Space. It’s user friendly and less intimidating.

Delonda, I just updated my Design Space for my IPad and my version is only 5.22.0, could this be right? I am doing an HTV design with 3 colors and I cannot figure out how to do Beta mode on it.

My IPad only updated to version 5.21
I don't understand, so they removed the color of each design in the panel, which you can clearly see the colors! to now you have to name the color, also what happen to the curve button? I only have one ribbon on top not two anymore. So confusing. Not a fan!
I haven’t noticed that curve is missing. I’m definitely going to check on it when I get home.
In the layers panel, I can still see all the colors. I love the fact that you can rename the layers. I really like the pieces that I have played around with so far.
@@CraftingwithDelonda I figured out the curve button, But for some reason I'm unable to see any color it's all grey. I've been experiencing some problems with design space. When I open the word box and start typing the whole program shuts down. I've tried multiple times... Idk why? but I love your content keep them coming❤
