I saw Megadeth at the Newport back in the 90's on the So Far, So Good, So What Tour. Total mayhem, one of the craziest shows I have been at. Stage diving, overwhelmed security that resulted in them bringing out Mace to spray the crazy crowd. Between songs Dave said "Don't give these guards a hard time, we've had crazier crowds than you!" It was nuts!
This was such a great show. First time seeing Megadeth live and this venue was packed. Beer spraying in the air down in the pit. I was back a little and stage right. I thought the band did great and Dave was awesome! In This Moment opened and they were alright. Got popular after this tour.
