  • This video discusses how to create a productive butterfly garden in a small space. It recommends and highlights 3 different annuals, including, Zinnias, Petunias and Verbena. It also discusses how to use medium size rocks to create a terrace in your garden to prevent water runoff. There is spectacular video of the Giant Swallowtail butterfly feasting on Zinnias. Also, there are some images of the terraces at Machu Picchu, Peru.

Oh how those butterflies love zinnias!! I start them from seed and plant them all over my yard. Of coarse with my milkweed. Great video showing anyone can do it even on a small concept.

Thank you! This was perfect! I didn't buy Zinnias here, they look pretty rough due to the heat this week so I substituted with beebalm. Hope they will like it

I love Zinnias because they bloom for such a long time and the butterflies love it. However Bee Balm is so hearty and comes back year after year, so a great choice!
