Wow, this is just beautiful...... so serene and I’m feeling relaxed just watching and listening to the insect and bird sounds great in the background. Love the deco..❤️
Glad you enjoyed it!
Stunning suites and so clever to have the ipads loaded with bird books, tree books etc so people can learn more about this special concession! well done on the video Luke and Suz.
Thanks so much! 😊 Appreciate it Sarah!
What a lovely place
Thanks Prince!
I still have the original hand drawn map when we opened up the concession. There was more roads then than now. Sarah is a bit young and too good a looker to have been there at the beginning, which was many years back. Matetsi was started by And Beyond (CCA) which was a South African company and we had two lodges there. It was a partnership with a local company. It has been redone a bit - and credit to the new owners as better than the original. I hope they also reopen a new camp where the other one was. This was across the main road by a pan in the Westwood vlei and sadly burnt down after I had left. It had a different theme and some quality decking, and tents, and more like a Hwange camp
Great insights Brian thanks for sharing.
Wow I would have loved to see a kingfisher actually catching a fish. I love the bhundu there
