that will help, just realize that spike along with the screw helps the tuner not spin in the hole under string tension. The screw should be enough though you would think. Thanks for your comment and I hope the tuners work out well for you.
Hi. Gear Ratio 1:18 or 1:21? On the official Guyker website these tuners have 1:21, but on Aliexpress it is 1:18. This can be checked by counting the number of teeth on the gear. For gear ratio 1:18 there will be 18, and for gear ratio 1:21 there will be 21
did they come with the grease or you have to get any grease to lube the gears? also you video is greatly appreciated as i just bought them in chrome and wanted to see how they looked thanks
They are sealed and I assume pre-greased. They seem comparable to what is on the LTD guitar I have. Time will tell. They are better tuners than what came on the guitar, have smoother operation, and the locking feature helps remove excess string wraps and makes string change easier. Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for sharing!
I filed down the little spikes on back of the tuning pegs for a flush installation.

You're using locking tuners the wrong way. The point is to eliminate the need to wind the string around the post with the addition of the clamp.
thanks for the tip I will give that a try
