I'm glad Alan did this podcast. I'll admit i was one of the doubters, but this interview changed my mind. Look forward to your content, Alan!

    Hey Boys,
Very cool. Nice to meet Alan Hohshida. Really cool to learn about his background and love that he is a Gilroy kid. I lived, worked and coached in Gilroy for quite some time. I even took Spanish and remedial math at Gavilan Community College during the summers. I had to relearn K-8 math because I was working towards a teaching credential and had not done any of that stuff in 40 years!
I also went to San Jose State back in the mid 80's and one of my suite-mates in the dorms was a gentleman named Alan Yoshida. Kind of tripped me out when I heard Alan's name at first.
Thanks for another cool interview with the Sharks broadcasters boys. Really appreciate getting to hear them talk Sharks hockey and learn about them. All my best to you Alan and I hope this finds you and your family well!
P.s. Congratulations on the newish child Alan.

It’s a very good point I thought that Brodie was not very well perceived or welcomed by the fanbase in his first season and then became a fan favorite for everyone to listen to. And while change is hard and Alan has some big shoes to fill, I feel he’s been doing the best can given the circumstances while also within the context of knowing what Brodie meant to the fanbase. And as someone who wants to get into sports broadcasting myself I wholly and entirely relate to what Alan is saying.
