The book and movie really overlooked Teresa’s death. I also think that in the book the relationship of Thomas and Brenda was a bit forced so they made Thomas stubborn to see why Teresa was doing what she had too. Teresa is one of my favourite characters and her death always makes me cry because she wasn’t treated fairly

Teresa was carrying a guilty conscience. From betraying her friends, the immunes and especially Thomas. Remember when she thought they found the cure via Minho's brain but only delayed the virus? That is also still in play. Possibly, seeing Thomas again made her even more guilty plus he does not even trust her before Thomas knew he was the cure added to Teresa's guilt. Which ultimately lead to her not jumping with them.
I want to change the ending of the series. Such a dumb one. Teresa is alive for me and she has one son with Thomas. No, it totally didnt write a whole new ending.

I think Teresa purposfully didn't jump. She's a very smart woman, she would've already jumped. And besides, she stood an awfully long time standing. I think her doing that would've been redemption. She loved Thomas, and she knew he loved Brenda, so she decided that this would be her chance of 'redemption.'
