Wonderful summer retreat. The river helps cool down the heat naturally. This is one of the reasons why the Thai people love to live their life along the river. Enjoyed watching your video. Well done.

Nice video Arsen. I stayed at the AEK - PAILIN River Kwai hotel. I could look out my room and see the river flowing by. In the morning I noticed the river level was down. I learned they hold water back for more hydro electricity at night. But by 9 or 10 am they release more water and the level went back up.

The meals N cocktails looked great and those lanterns were precious. Thailand is an amazing place and you're lucky to have experience so much of it's beauty. Thankyou Arsen for this beautiful moment captured on this video😊❤️🙏

Looks amazing and so relaxing. Can't help feel, as you seemed to imply yourself, that they are missing a trick by not having a bit more to that village but I guess relaxing and not doing "stuff" is the point really isn't it?

You can stay about a half mile north at a resort called Photuey which I loved. Photuey is at the top of hillside and you can rent a private villa with a private onsen hotspring that overlooks the river. They will take you on a golf cart for a few minutes and then you hike for 20 minutes and the entrance to the floating river is down some steps. If you stay at either Photuey or Floating hotel, you can hike about 1 mile to visit the Mon Village which is a hill tribe, pet an elephant, visit a Buddhist cave temple and relax at the viewpoint deck. Beautiful views. Food at the floating hotel is amazing, open bar where we got some Ballantine scotch on our hike, and a few people were jumping in the water and floating from one section of the hotel to another. Looks like a lot of fun, but we got the private Photuey onsen villa and it was amazing.

No it was a smooth stay, but if you walk at the back side village some might bite you, but not a big deal.
All in all the river cools the weather after sunset and it becomes pleased.
      Stay safe
