Finally! Someone who can explain this in easy terms. Your video and graph were much more useful than the explanation in the owners manual of my helicopter. Thank you very much.
hi Ray .excellent video. this has explained the pitch curves to me.very clear and easy to understand.thanks very much.keep em coming buddy. have agreat day tomorrow! nick from uk
very helpful for a beginner like me who fly cp for a few months now ,I just picked up a dx6i and learning ....my nano cpx cant be more stable I mean no input and it stays hovering (if no ground effect).
Nice video. Just one thing to mention to all newbies with align speed controls(esc's). When programming esc you must have throttle curve at 0-25-50-75-100%. Even if you know this it's easy to forget, because you are eager to program the tx for flight!!!
Thanks again Ray !! I've been Flying my Blade MZCPX V2 heli now for about a Month now and been on the simulator every day for hours been Flying out side every day some times every other day here in Mass the weather is not all that good at this time of year. but 1 thing good about being Laid off from work lol i get more flying time LOL Any ways I'm Ready to do some inverted Flying and I'm glade i watch this video for that Blade pitch at mid stick setup .. well I'm going to start setting up my Dx6 for 3D for Sundays flying is going to be in the 55 to 60's so its great weather to fly .. Well KEEP Up the Great videos Ray and Happy Flying !
very helpful video,i coudnt understand why blade put in there manual for the 130x the throttle curve in normal mode the high position is only at 75%? and position 4 68% the heli struggled with full elevator throttle pumps and fast forward flight in normal mode,so i changed position 4 to 80% and high to 100% now it flys so much better much more power available for sport flying in normal mode
Good morning, buddy. You could help me in the setup of the acceleration curve and pithc! I use a radio Taranis x9d Plus with the 935 mm helicopter. I live in Brazil and I'm trying very hard. Thank you so much.
I would recommend a straight linear curve for electric helis, and a V shape or curve shape for nitro, electric : ------ 100, 100, 100 , 100, 100 or lower depending on headspeed 85,90, 95 ect.//// Nitro: 100, 90, 85, 90, 100 which would give you a v shape throttle curve. V. Honestly all on your personal preference. but good video nitro, very good explanation.
I think that ether my 3s 10000mah is to heavy for my drone or my throttle is to low. I try to fly my tarot fy690s with 750kv motors and 1355 propellers but it does want to lift. Do you think that a 3s 10000 mah is to heavy?
My throttle cure screen shows a total of 7 points but only lets me set 1-5. How can I set the other 2 - so that I have a 7 point throttle curve ? my throttle stick stops 1/4 inch from top and 1/4 inch from bottom. When I try to set up throttle curve it only lets me set 5 of the 7 possible positions. Do I need to adjust the throttle stick to have full range of motion to fix this? If so, how do I make that adjustment ? - thanks
Hello, I have a dx6i tx and the scroller jumps around when scrolling, i sent it to horizon hobby and the said they want fix it because i added a backlight,do you know anywere i can get this part for my dx6i? Thanks
I don't know this is mostly for Flying HELI's not Quad Copters , But i have seen them do flips and Rolls before I don't think they will be able to preform tick tock's and Rainbows But i could be wrong RUclips it LOL
I dont use a governor, i fly sport only. What would the ideal throttle curve be for nitro. Electric is fine and works great with 75% to 80% throttle lineair. Does this work on nitro or do you go from half stick 80% 90% 100%. Or 80-85-90%. Talking about half stick +5 pitch till full stick +10 to +12
@@nitrokyosho Thanks. What would the normal curve be? 95% is pretty high. Do i need half stick 80-85% throttle? That would also be light on the skids and about 4-5% pitch. Throttlecurve for normal 0-70-80-90-100

Thank you glad to help my friend
Thank you for your help! Great job explaining.
Awesome , great video . Thanks.

Thank you very much for you input I will start with these setting many thanks again
Great video! I am a beginner and your explanation made it so easy to understand throttle and stunt curve.
Nice introduction, thank's for sharing. will help me to better understand the throttle and pitch stuff of my DX7 radio
That was very, very useful. Thankyou.
great video, i recommend all new to the hobby to watch your videos. great info.
Thank you my friend

excellent exellent vid. I would say starting @15:00 is the most important part of the video. great job!
This was great. I got it!

What curve would you recommend for a beginner on a 450 align trex?
What will I gain if set throttle @15% and what @20% for Blade 350qx2 ?
Do I need throttle expo for Blade 350qx 2
Thankyou.

wow this actually helped lol thanks :)
Hi just been watching video very useful thanks can you please surguest how to set your controller setting for a novice to start off with , many thanks
pretty much use a standard throttle curve like 0,25,50,75,100 and use expo like + 35 on aielron and elevator to start

Thx... Hey where in New England are you... I'm also in New England .!
how would this effect if flying quads
Most quads can't fly inverted so use a normal throttle curve.
I don't know this is mostly for Flying HELI's not Quad Copters , But i have seen them do flips and Rolls before I don't think they will be able to preform tick tock's and Rainbows But i could be wrong RUclips it LOL
you would need a quad that is variable pitch.
