Clearly Pras don't know anything about American history. Black Americans revolted way before Haitians did. In the late 1600s slave from the Carolinas and Georgia became free when they occupied Florida, and did so until the 1850s. They were called the Seminoles. The Seminole War lasted about 50 years. There were thousands of slave revolts in the USA before the Civil War. Do some research.
Your right But. It wasn’t recognized as a Republic & didn’t last long. Haitians Liberated the Whole Island of Hispaniola & contributed towards South American countries Independence from Spain. Because of this. European Countries to my knowledge would not Recognize or Trade with Haiti

Haiti on the other hand was always in debt to France because Haiti didn't want France to take over the island after France lost. Haiti paid France millions in gold not to invade the island again.
