Backlash of the Hunter. Rockford Files Pilot/Episode 1. A few excerpts.

In the first episode of Rockford files, we see some interesting things. The trailer parked barely 50 feet from Pacific Coast Highway. We see what looks like a shot taken inside the real trailer and is it narrow! A different Rocky, and a different Chevy PU truck for Rocky. The ever-present Chevy Vega is there, right in the first episode! Possibly the eye catching red and white Caddy that Lance drives in later episodes is there. Luis Delgado is there and gets married under his real name! Angel is there too! As is Jack Garner. Billy Mumy does a cameo. Dinner is served at the Tail of the Pup Hot Dog stand.
It may have been a pilot but it had just about all the parts set up and going.
