Note that to upload a video that is longer than 15 minutes, you need to "verify" your account (if you have a gmail account, that works as a youtube account, but you still need to verify it for youtube). This is super/ easy quick to do, but if you haven't done it, the upload will fail at the end (after you've been waiting however long for it to upload). I can't remember the actual steps to verify, but google "verify youtube account".
