I'm going back in time with my cozy games-- found a Gameboy SP in Korea, and th3 only game I was able to find here was PaneldePon, which is a surprisingly great puzzle game that I love to play before going to bed. All I'm playing on my Switch right now is Celeste and Sonic 2. No relaxation to be found there 🤣
I've been finally playing Spirit farer and it is great, also played TOEM and really enjoyed it I haven't tried newer games but will do, that Zoo tycoon like game looks tempting as I also was a zoo tycoon fan as a kid
I'm looking forward to bear and breakfast that come out this month on the 28. Never heard of these games before thank you for the Cozy game suggestions.
My current fave is Rainbow Billy and the curse of the leviathan. Where you play as Billy, after the leviathan has taken all the colours from the world and you have to travel around this world and restore the colours by restoring to colour cores and recolouring creatures along the way. Each creature has an insecurity you have to help them overcome and it’s such a lovey and cosy game about friendship and finding yourself too.
Little witch in the woods is on Game pass right now too if anyone has that. Wylde flowers was wonderful, I played the demo and want to play more asap!!
I've really enjoyed recently finishing Superliminal and Behind the Frame and now I'm now playing Gorogoa. These are such imaginative and clever games. I love how game developers can come up with such amazing and creative games. I'm looking forward to playing Little Witch in the Woods when my steam deck comes 😊
Been playing the demo for Potion Permit!!! Love it! Mini games and potion brewing and getting to know a small town! Plus: cute dog who I can name and follows me around!
I played Wylde Flowers to completion on my iPad, and I enjoyed it so much! The only downside is that it has ruined me for other games. Reading dialogue is not quite as satisfying after playing a fully-voiced game. There was also a perfect balance between storytelling and the questing and farming. I'm still trying to find my next game to play that will fill the hole that Wylde Flowers left.
What is your experience playing cozy games on both of those devices? I’m trying to decide between them and having a hard time, since most reviewers don’t focus on cozy games. Do you find that games look and run much better on the deck due to the superior hardware, or are they similar enough that it doesn’t justify the extra cost and inability to play Nintendo games (without an emulator)? This may be a very silly question. I bought Time On Frog Island as a download. All I can see when playing the game is you use the Y button and it picks up or drops I have tries other buttons and nothing else works just the the Y button. Is that the only one that is used. I have been online to try and find how to play this game and found nothing just walk thru.
I absolutely loved Grow song of the evertree and I am loving The Cruel King and the Great Hero. It has such a cute story so far (I'm on chapter 5). The only thing I don't like about it is some of the sidequests involve alot of running around and there are no ways that I have found to stop random encounters but I still enjoy it.
Are there certain ones you’ve played only on the steam deck? With some that are Pc and switch both, it’s now going to be hard to know which platform to buy them on. Interested in Core Keeper and Grow for sure.

OMG Livly Island is developed by COCONE!! when I was like 16 I used to play Pocket Colony (they changed the name later to mini me idw) but the game was shutdown and only continued in the japanese version (still going) so thank you so much for recommending it . 🤩
i am extremely excited for harvestella for switch created by square enix it looks extremely promising cant wait to see people try it here. it reminds me of mabinogi heavily... and looks like what i hoped rune factory 5 might be!! (i couldnt get into rune factory 5 it felt really slow and sloggy) it would be cool to see you showing harvestella here :)
