I’m not sure people understand just how masterfully she responded to Shannon several times. Not only did she answer the questions, but she answered them in the way that they should’ve been asked. And she even changes the narrative in the process. MASTERFUL
Keke is a perfect example of what being raised in a healthy, loving, articulate, theatrical, supportive, disciplined home with solid male figures (one cannot overstate the importance of a father figure enough) looks like. Bravo 👏👏👏 Always a joy to see & hear from her.
It’s always to do with how one carries themselves amidst hardship and how they don’t allow past experiences to hold them back. Each individual is different and you can’t make such definitive statements
KeKe is smart and elegant yes. Her husky voice makes us think she is mature. What has happened with her personal life this past year shows us she is not. I wish her, Darius, and their son Leodis all the best.
I know some strong alpha women. Their husbands are quietly confident. They have no desire to prove their manliness or to be seen a certain way, have their own careers and just support their wives and families and help them thrive. They are secure in themselves and are not in competition with their wives
I know people like this too. Not sure why Shannon assumes Keke needs a man like he described. Dolly Parton is a "boss lady" and her husband is about as lowkey as it gets. A real man knows how to sit back and enjoy/appreciate his woman shine in the spotlight. Shannon must be around people with fragile egos
When she cried, I cried too. I felt her words deep in my soul because that's how my father is too. That's how he raised us and continues to. One of the things my brother always said: "I am grateful for Pat, because who taught that man to be a man?" My dad grew up without his dad and didn't have the family structure he has made sure that we have. ❤😭
It’s amazing how she just said she loves People who loves her and she’s sexually fluid and he went straight to she NEEDS AN ALPHA ALPHA MAN…. Just missing the point. And Keke’s reaction was everything to me as she brought back around to such a rich response with substance.
But that's not what she said. She clarified that it was Wendy Williams who said Keke was "sexually fluid". I watched that interview. I don't think she's sexually fluid but she went along with Wendy to get along.
Her upbringing and how being around strong male figures in her family SOOO resonates with me. Yes, women raised by strong, loving men do need Alpha Men!
I had the most traditional dad ever and he taught his daughters to be able to take care of themselves. He said get your education have your own money dont take no mess from any man and dont give the time of day to anyone who is less than you. He also taught me how to change a tire and took me the shooting range lol. So that strong independent thing is cultivated by good dads and i think a lot of the men who look at this with disdain dont recognize that because they didnt have a dad.
This was 100% my father, Kevin! My parents had 8 daughters, no sons and raised us the same way. Although my parents had a traditional marriage my siblings and I were raised to just as you’ve stated! We know how to change tires and car oil. We exercise our 2nd amendment. We are all married with our own kids and great careers. However, I’m working on trusting my husband to “lead” as this was not taught to us growing up. Stay blessed 💗
Those things, the men in your life, were sharing, is how ALL PEOPLE ARE TO BE! Your self confidence and assertiveness is not to be compromised. Yet, one can still be humble and less aggressive towards life. Not taking the life out of others with your position and words.
I love Unc interview with confident folk who focuses on themselves and not other folk just to remain revelant. KeKe has grown from a great and cute child actor to a Beautiful and gifted Adult actor. Proud of the Alpha Woman she is
Shannon's assessment was correct and timely. Keke deserves what she desires. One would hope that for everyone to receive what they desire. Keke may know what she desires more clearly than other people do. What I hope for you is to find clarity for yourself.
@@abennett3118 I think that’s the point. He would be a good balance to her. Marrying the same personality to me isn’t always the best. It works for some, but I think a shy guy who doesn’t crave the spotlight and doesn’t need to be in charge by being alpha, but knows how to be a team player and knows when to take the lead and when to allow her to lead would be great for her. That’s just my opinion.
She’s not describing gender fluidity, she’s talking about being confident and bold. Our new age way of life is making us see things that aren’t even there.
Great episode. I truly adore KeKe P. Ms Palmer is smart, talented, beautiful, funny but most of all she’s kind and down to earth. May the universal god cover her in all the ways. Asking that she continue to blossom and add value in every way, on purpose! And so it shall be!!!🪄🦄

No man should want his daughter to have an alpha, they are hunters and once they get what they want or burnout nothing remains. But I see alot of women step over a real one for a alpha which has a shelf life. Ahh so many thoughts right now.

Good luck!!! 🤣

I’d take it a step further and call KeKe a Sigma woman. They’re the same as Alphas, except they don’t compete. They’re confidently in their own lane.
This woman looks so much like Angela Bassett she even has some of the same mannerisms just beautiful
When she does the Angela Bassett biopic it's gonna be a full circle moment
Or a young Marsha Warfield
My thoughts exactly!
I used to think that she was Angela daughter
Are you high? No she does not
KeKe and Katt finna be the highest viewed interviews. She's brilliant.
I came here from the Katy video haha.
Keke has matured so beautifully 😍
Matured like a lonely woman 😂
Loved the interview. Maybe she needs a man who just is happy with the way she is and just stands back in awe in how amazing she is.
And makes space for who she will become over the years. I think an alpha could feel like a constraint.
Maybe she needs a woman.
Furr Sure......
You mean a sucker.
Right. She needs someone who will just love her for her.
Wow! I love the way she expresses herself. That quote from Toni Morrison was everything. Racism can be a distraction !! Bravo 🎉
I can relate to this so much. My dad was a king. He taught me so much about myself and how I show up in the world.
Same. My dad is king. What a blessing. He’s a lovely man. ❤❤❤ I named my son after him. Almost got him. His lip quivered.😂
Telling a young confident woman what she needs when He Himself doesn’t even know what he wants or needs… THE NERVE 😩🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
